The best way to make sure health care isn't harmed is to make
sure that Hillary is defeated in 2008. Socialized medicine has
never worked (ask the countries who have it). Hillary tried to
take over health care in 1993 and failed miserably. Our country
simply can't afford to provide health care to everyone. What happened to personal responsibility? Hillary wants EVERYONE
in this country to look to government for the solution to all of
their problems. Absolute power corrupts absolutely!

I appreciate the efforts of people like Sen. Hilary Clinton and Pres. Abdul Kalam to engage the public through this medium. But should they get special treatment on here? Please explain your answer.

Democrats are urging diplomacy in dealing with Iran, but is it really possible to hold beneficial talks with a regime who denies the Jewish holocaust occurred?

It is a Quote from Jesus Camp by Becky Fischer: It's no wonder, with that kind of intense training and discipling, that those young people are ready to kill themselves for the cause of Islam. I wanna see young people who are as committed to the cause of Jesus Christ as the young people are to the cause of Islam. I wanna see them as radically laying down their lives for the Gospel as they are over in Pakistan and Israel and Palestine and all those different places, you know, because we have... excuse me, but we have the truth!

There are so many toxic chemicals in foods, drugs, vitamins, meats, shampoos, lotions, toothpaste, household cleaners, etc. The Food and DEATH admin says these things are safe.......but if you research, so many are toxic. Why does it cost more to purchase a pint of fresh organic berries than a pound of beef? The cattle farmers get huge grants from the government, but fruit and veggie farmers dont. I find this highly disturbing,....do you? Further more, they dont require meat processors to label that they inject meats and poultry with solutions containing wheat and soy and corn, which many people, me included are highly allergic to.....just want your thoughts on this thanks!

especially when they're brimming with OIL?

Why not send thousands of troops and gear to Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea, Palestine, Chechnya, true terrorist breeders, and where more innocent human lives are lost than anywhere else?

For those who will probably use the "we saved Europe from the Nazis" argument: It was the Russians who did it. The US was fighting the semi-dead Japs, out of sheer braggadoccio, just to impress Stalin with a 'vulgar display of power'.

Hummm, I keep wondering why.

(Let's face it: The NATO operations in the Balkans took place after YEARS of manslaughter and ethnic cleansing, and even then the US was quite reluctant. And sending gunships to Somalia is not precisely a Desert Storm, right?)

Im in Michigan and my city wants to tear down the old airport terminal which is a nice building and built nearly 100 yrs ago,

it also happens to be a hangar for me and a few other local pilots,
"they are ripping it down to force us into higher priced hangars"
It is on our main street and should be preserved as a historical marker for the city, even if we have to move our planes.
there is no local historical society, anyone know where to start?
