The US govt should be working for the citizens of the USA, a govt of-by-and FOR the people. Despite all the disdain of the voters, the unbelievable display & disregard for US legal tax-paying citizens overall well-being has been realized. The speech the other night is certainly a joke re security when the US govt has forsaken our protection at the borders and even gone so far as to deplete the funds we the US legal citizens have earnestly upheld. Why are we fighting in Iraq & worried about Iran when in over 40 states over 1200 terrorists GROUPS have made camp. The FBI\CIA know they have weapons so what is the plan that the pres of Iran keeps alluding to and how much confidence now can WE THE PEOPLE have in our survival? Unless the US govt is as intelligent as it should be and has a plan for this, will we end up at radicals mercy?

It is impossible to know why the arrests of Ramos and Compean occured!! It has made me doubt Bush's regard for our own sovereignty.

Because of the guest worker program Bush wants to implement. This has to chap the hide of the minutemen, who Bush himself called vigialntes, lol. Just watch, Bush will pardon these two right after the 08 elections.

They wanted to use his testimony to convict these two border patrol men.
Even in the pursuit of illegals who are bringing in drugs the border patrol shouldn't have the right to shoot to kill someone who is unarmed and shooting someone in the back who is trying to get away!
Just because they can .....doesn't mean they should!
Evidently that is the point of this trial.

Because they were cops... It is more popular with the people to lock up cops than illegal aliens...
