I believe, just as great nations of times gone by ( Greeks, Romans, British Empire, Persia ) the United States is on it's last legs as a GREAT WORLD LEADER.
What's your opinion ??

I know it's very unlikely that it will ever happen but what if it did. For instance, everyone just felt that the country was in too big of a mess and it was too much to handle, and no one wanted to step up to the plate and take control. Are there laws or ordinances in place just in case something like that ever did take place? I guess i'm basically trying to ask who would run the country in the absence of a President?

IF the new plan in Iraq turns out to work, CAN YOU and WILL YOU say, "Bush was right"?

And please don't say, "this is unanswerable, because it won't happen", or similar, because that will only make you look pathetic.

And it shouldn't matter that it is "a hypothetical qustion". You should be able to PICTURE YOURSELF in that scenario.

Thanks for answering honestly.

And that the president (or his attorney general) need only satisfy himself that an American is working in conjunction with a foreign power before a search can take place?

I believe that party politics has become detrimental to our society because we politicize everything. I also believe that our government should pass laws based on what's good for Americans, not what's good for a certain political party. We could call it the "Good for America" Act.

If you do not yet have children, would you NOT have them due to the current state of the country and the world?

If you do have children, do you feel bad for what they are going to inherate?

I never wanted to have kids for the simple fact that the world is getting overpopulated and I didn't want to subject my children to what is coming. Surprise surprise...I did have one...but I really feel bad for what we are leaving our children in this country (the US) and the world.

With all the talk about universal healthcare. To me even having healthcare readily available still comes with a great amount of personal responsibility. I have insurance, but I only go to the doctor when I have to. Some people seem to like to go for any stuffy or runny nose. So can we really trust the people who have not been responsible so far with themselves to make good judgements about when to go to the doctor with our tax monies?

In terms of Bush's place in history, I think he will be remembered alongside the greatest presidents including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ronald Reagan, and a fellow Republican by the name of Abraham Lincoln. Now, I can't list ALL Bush Accomplishments with such a short amount of space (and time), but I will list a couple of things this great man has done.

1) Bush has reestablished good Christian Values in the White House, and America at large (Lord knows we needed it after the Clinton administration).
2) Bush has made us safe from terrorists through his audacious military efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.
3) Bush has continuously fought for Middle Class Americans by cutting taxes. A move that also saved the Economy!
4) Bush has raised educational standards for our kids by starting the "no child left behind" program.

I can go on and on with Bush's accomplishments. There are just too many of them to mention because he's one of the best President's ever!

For all you who think we are losing the war on terror, have you heard about this?

Al Qaeda Cannibalizing?

A native Iraqi and Middle East expert says the Iraqi insurgency independent of Al Qaeda is being slowly and surely defeated. Nibras Kazimi has worked with the Iraqi National Congress and the country's de-Baathification Commission. He writes in the New York Sun that U.S. and Iraqi military pressure has left insurgents feeling "demoralized, disillusioned and hunted."

He says Al Qaeda is cannibalizing smaller groups and continues to grow. But he says, "Al Qaeda is getting a serious beating as the Americans improve in intelligence gathering and partner with more reliable Iraqi forces." He calls the recent trend a "major accomplishment."

But Kazimi cautions that Al Qaeda terror will continue for many years because the group "will remain oblivious to all evidence of the insurgency's eventual defeat." And he has advice for presumptive new multi-national forces commander David Petraeus

I mean seriously, what idiot came up with sending more troops. He doesn't listen to the American people, neither to congress and heck some republicans he doesn't list to either. So far he has been making wrong choice after wrong choice, in Iraq, does he second guess himself? or is he just mentally retarded? People are screaming "NO" to his policy, but yet he wants to do his own thing, what kind of leader doesn't listen to his people? The way he's taking advice from "who knows?" , he's going to make thing a whole lot worse, and go down in history as one of the worst or maybe the wosrt president so far.

Bush has been totally unresponsive to the wishes of the American people and jumps at the whims of Halliburton and other corrupt corporations. Considering his history, will he pay attention to the millions who will be protesting this illegal and immoral war, in Iraq, tomorrow, or will he order the gustapo to use tear gas and bang some American heads around?
