Are these dimwits incapable of understanding that everyone can still get what they have now (private and business supplied)?

For someone who insults others, it is you who is lacking in the Information Department.

As I have posted here numerous times, "Universal" health care is a disaster waiting to happen. It will increase costs of health care, reduce staff and facilities, and create insane waiting times for basic procedures.

Canada and Britain are already dealing with socialized Hellth care. Let's NOT go down the same path.

You have a lot of nerve calling people dimwits here when you don't know a thing about the situation. Just try to engage your brain and think about this. Hillary and her cronies want a mandatory national healthcare plan that will create a huge tax-eating bureaucracy and drive health care costs through the ceiling, all on the backs of the working public who always get stuck with the bills. The President wants to give tax breaks to individuals who purchase their own heath care insurance and to employers who provide health care insurance to their employees. The DIMWITS here are the DEMOCRATS and anyone who agrees with them. HERE'S YOUR SIGN!!!

Universal Healthcare is not going to decrease medical costs. Right now, you are able to have your insurance costs deducted pre tax. Explain how a Universal Healthcare system would be paid for? You got it...post tax. It's a great idea in theory, but in practicality it will actually increase the true cost of healthcare on the citizens...oh and by the way, I'm a Democrat. Some things don't make financial sense.

Further, the tax liabilty for this would come greatly from the upper tax brackets...why should I pay for your medical coverage? You want coverage, do what I did. Work your a** off to become successful and don't count on others to hand everything to you. If you need food, I'm generous enough to give you what I don't need, but I'm not gonna put the godd*mn spoon in your mouth.

Ask someone from England about Universal Healthcare, and you'll find that they have many more problems than you could ever imagine. They will pay out the wazoo for private health care just so they don't have to deal with the governmental health care. When the government gets a hold of it completely, it will go down hill. We need regulations in place that keep it from skyrocketing, but not universal healthcare.

Mandatory universal healthcare is an option?

Universal healthcare means everyone will have it. No exeptions.

You may have an option of what parts you want, but everyone will be covered.

And like most Liberal ideas, this one is lovely and altruistic and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, but who is going to pay for it?

Utopian Liberal dreamworld = free healthcare, no nukes, no war, all countries love us, global cooling.

reality = not the above.

Why can't dimwitted democrats stop spending their money on drugs and booze and get health care? Health care should be your number one priority. But, all you wanna do is complain about it and people like me who have it have to suffer because you don't.

Because they're in bed with the American Medical Association and the pharmaceutical industry. The GOP would also like to get rid of Social Security and public education if they could.
