yes. America is a good mix of capitalism and socialism,something that won't be changing. do you only accept the part of America you agree with? do you only obey laws you agree with? the differences present in America is what makes it a good place.

Sigh. Do you find, in business yourself, that it builds your credibility with customers & business partners to use overblown hyperbole when factual statements are more effective. The Democratic Party of the US is far from overrun with socialists. The worst elements of the party are not socialists--they are opportunists of no particular ideological stripe, like the Clintons. Most elected Democrats are centrists or center-leftists. The socialists are very few, at least in the elected ranks; the only socialist in Congress is an Independent, Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

I used to own one, then the repubs took over and ran my comp up so high that I had to lower all my workers wages down to 10 cents per hour. They got pissed and took jobs as mexican fence jumpers. Now they all have med cards, free heat, free schooling, food stamps and no one is telling them to get out. D**m, I should have joined them.

Of course they do. Many own their own business and they are right in there taking advantage of all tax breaks they get from the republicans.
