What has happened to the scruples of the Country? How are we electing thieves, allowing our children to be exploited and letting criminals walk free from the courthouse without serving time

Drive home in my 13mpg truck, throw some food into my disposal, let the water run, take a long hot shower, take a dump and flush the hi-flow toilet 15 times, then empty my recycling bin into my trash before I settle in to watch Ultimate Fighting.

Anyone care to join me?

The President states that we're not going to quit until the war is finished. Well Rumsfeld is the one that pushed the war and heavily supported the war. He quit, does that mean that the war should be finished?

Those of you who have voted to ban all smoking, do you know how much the government makes HOURLY from those who purchase cigarettes? How are you going to feel when even 1/4 of the smokers choose to quit, and the government has to raise taxes elsewhere to cover the deficit?

his sad and disgusting murder must not be used as a excuse for people to discriminate or attack young asians for revenge of this very unfortunate young boy ... at the end of the day we are are all basically the same ... we walk on our hind legs (upright) we all have the capacity to speak verbally to one another .... our blood is the same colour and we all breathe the same air WE ARE THE SAME a small matter like skin pigmentation should not be a acceptable excuse to attack or discriminate anyone

i also believe we need to be better educated in other Scottish/British peoples cultures .... we are one counry with many cultures .... cultures every scot should embrace ... say a program like young scots should visit a mosque one week and a synagogue the next etc so we can respect their communities better Goverment at a local and national level should also play a major role

that is my beliefs and i stand by them

but i would like to know what yahoo users believe

Answer these questions for me if you will. Why do the majority of international nations hate the United States? Will the United States ever re-gain it's reputation as a respectable and likeable nation. Do you think it's partly due to arrogance and imperialism? Or, are these characteristcs the markings of the western world?

IMHO, you guys really seem to take it up a notch beyond most Western democracies. The Bush hating really seems a little unseemly from this outsiders perspective. Over here I'd have to say we usually don't really like the guys on any of the sides all that much. While there are differences, don't we all get a lot of the same no matter who you vote in?

I'm afraid Gates will be more low-key and "respectful" of the Dems' moronic committee chairmen - a losing move every time.

I'm confused, because I always thought that everything was split equally between the parties in terms of like, positions in the House and Senate and stuff. And now since these elections, the Democrats have 'won control of the House'. what does this mean??

Clarity
I think what you'll find,
I think what you'll find is,
Whatever it is we do substantively,
There will be near-perfect clarity
As to what it is.

And it will be known,
And it will be known to the Congress,
And it will be known to you,
Probably before we decide it,
But it will be known.

I'm sure you know ... I thought it was kinda ... sweet .... :)

If you don't know, here's a little hint: —Feb. 28, 2003, Department of Defense briefing

I've spotted a real danger if we get too many windfarms in the UK. Terrorists (The government says there are thousands of them here) could turn them all one way overnight and we'd drive off to the North Pole or somewhere.
