Dow reaches new high on election results!!!

Wall Street rose for a third straight session Wednesday, with the Dow Jones industrials reaching another record close as investors grew more confident that a huge victory by Democrats in congressional elections would result in gridlock and keep lawmakers out of the way of business interests.

Why did the Republicans cry...
everything will go to "heck " Nov. 8th
if the Democrats win?

ok so im going to a model united nations conference and will represent colombia, south america in General Assembly 1 (GA1). The 3 topics for debate will be hezbollah, the nuclear proliferation in north korea, and the rising power in china, in which i will have to state colombia's stance on these 3 issues. I have found info on hezbollah, but the others seem to be a bit tougher, if possible could someone help me out?

I really am trying to find a difference as it seemed to be one major focal point in this election between a Republican and a Democrat Conservative.

A lot of news services are saying Pelosi and other liberals may of gotten the leadership but not how they wanted it due to the "new conservative" democrats elected, who will not vote with them on issues like withdrawing from Iraq , gay marriage , immigration or gun laws. The issues like raising of the minimum wage and civil unions are to be an easy sale.

Insight please --- it seems like the same package just with different wrapping .

Are you F-ing kidding me?! The man was impeached!! He accepted bribes ($150,000)!! He has no integrity, and is lacking in intelligence! Is this the idea of "ETHICS" that Nancy Pelosi has promised to bring back to Congress under her watch?

Or is she kissing the *** of the Congressional Black Caucus? It speaks volumes about the Democratic Party’s priorities that Pelosi is determined to fill a national security post to which credibility and rectitude are critical with a man whose career is an affront to both!!!

I'm looking for a recent photo of Edward (Ned) Sebelius and hopefully a biography of some sort but I'm having a hard time finding either.

I was in high school with him for a couple of years and I'm kind of curious as to what he has been up to. I'd contact him myself (somehow) but I doubt he'd remember me since it was such a large high school.

And no, there is nothing perverse about this request. I'm simply curious. That's all.
