I generally concur with your observation,I see it as the majority of the American public frustrated with and administration who tried to dictate a war and a plan that the populous disagreed with, and furthermore wanted to decrease our individual rights as citizens.
I am and Independent and voted very heavily for Democrats this time around.

I disagree. Yes people wanted change but many of the races were still close. I think the underlining issue was the fact that the Iraq war is still going on and because of the pathetic scandals by pathetic people. The economy has been doing well, unemployment rates are low, the stock market has been doing well, and gas prices have fallen. Many people have just gotten frustrated with all the bad news from Iraq. And they have a right to be but at the same time, when you have many extremists that want to kill us and will do anything to do it, its not an easy war to win over there. It will take time. Yes we need some new strategies but when you think about it what other strategies can we try except deploying more troops? Its hard to fight an enemy with no specific uniform or color that hides amongst the Iraqis. For Gods sake they are willing to kill themselves along with women and children to get to us. The war needs to be fought and needs to be won.
There is no corruption and no incompetence. No one including you or the democrats have any facts to support this. You just want someone to blame for the evils of the world and you blame Bush. When the dems tear apart our own country you and the other Dems will still blame Bush. Pathetic
