I'm an Aussie and I don't have a low opinion of Americans.
I don't think Americans are any dumber or smarter than Poms or other Aussies.
I do have a low opinion of Bush, but I know he does not represent all Americans, just the ones who like him. From what I've read on the yahoo message boards not many Americans like Bush either.
(To all those who chose to vote this week, well done!)
I don't think America is any better than Australia, nor any worse.
But of course I think Australia is the best place to live.

Generally Bad.
Politics and government are the ones to blame.
Because USA government puts it's nose where it does not belong (other countries business).
Socially I do not think that the World dislikes America and Americans. But sometimes Americans do have a reputation of fat, loud and ignorant people in Europe.

*Maybe we should be more concerned with "What do Americans think of America". I would rather worry about what's going on with America (politically and socially) rather than worry what other countries think of America.*

With disdain most of the time from what I hear every day on the chats and blogs.
They want all our freedoms and opportunities without our government or our citizens being here.
