She was just elected with 67% of the vote. What do you mean hate? You are misinformed. Why do Republicans hate her, would be more appropriate. That answer would be, because she threatens their power.

I think that most people who hate/dislike Hillary don't have a clue about her politics. A lot of them just see her as a Clinton, and if they hate Bill, they hate Hillary. Some people express that she's too abrasive and cold. I find that strange, because a male candidate coming off that way is generally admired. Especially in a time of war. Voters don't expect touchy-feely from male candidates, why would they insist on it with a woman? Some talk about how she is too liberal, when the truth is that she is a very moderate Democrat on most issues, not to mention a hawk. Being a hawk is a necessity in a woman President. No woman dove will ever be elected to the Presidency in this country.

She's extremely intelligent and I have to say I admired the way she handled her husband's Lewinsky debacle. Any woman who could deal with the press and the public the way she did and keep her composure at all times in the face of that kind of embarrassment is a woman to be admired.

She doesn't have my vote automatically. I'll need to hear her national platform first, but I think she's the most viable candidate for 2008 right now. I think when and if her national campaign begins she will bridge that "hard and cold" gap she seems to have with some people and a lot of them will begin to let that go and listen to what she has to say and be able to decide on her issue stances, not a knee-jerk personal dislike. It's a lot to hope for, but so was this election and the right thing happened.

I don't HATE her, but some of her ideas suck. Like the "Health Care Initiative" (which was actually Bill's idea, but he let her run the show). That whole thing was ridiculous, and it's a big reason the Repubs took congress in '94. If the Dems try any of that nonsense now that they (barely) have a majority (at least in the House, I guess the Senate is still open to question), they will be turned out again like they were in '94.

She also spearheaded this stupid thing after 9-11, a government fund to provide "counseling to children affected by 9-11," which was beyond silly. When no one signed up for it, Hillary trotted Susan Sarandon out in public service ads to BEG people to sign their kids up for counseling.

It's all part of her "It takes a village" mentality, which is silly, and is really Democratspeak for "let's stick our noses in your business." Nancy Pelosi has the same sad-sack BS "for the children" mindset."

If the Dems push this pseudo-socialist nonsense too much, they will find themselves kicked to the curb by voters once again.

Otherwise, I don't mind Hillary as a person. I thought it was very nice of her to visit the troops in Afghanistan like she did a while back. I felt sorry for her when a lot of people said she was just posturing.

Sadly, it is true that she is an elitist and not very nice. She has a reputation for treating people she sees as her "inferiors" very shabbily.

Probably the same reason they hate Nancy Pelosi. They're followers that can't think for themselves. If Hannity, Rush and the rest of the right-wing jagoffs tell them to hate her, they automatically will. Thank goodness there are still some moderates left in the republican party..

I don't hate her, but there are a few reasons why I would never vote ffor her. She's ultraliberal. She supports abortion, stem cell research, and gay marriage. Not to mention how she stayed with her husband after the affair just for political reasons. I doubt that there is any real love left in the relationship.

I understand that I'm seen as mean and opressive for being against gay marriages, but I'm a Christian. The bible clearly states that it is wrong, and that cannot be changed. Sorry. And as for abortion, we have three basic rights. The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. With abortion, somebody's pursuit of happiness is getting in the way of somebody else's life, and therefore, it's wrong. That's my view. God bless! No hard feelings.

P.S., to bad I can't find a Democrat that opposes abortion and homosexuality. Nor can I find a Republican who cares about the enviroment and wants to raise minimum wage.

Well I feel that she sold out. She was given everything by the Disney Channel and then just ditched them.

I like some of her music though. I just feel that shes a sell-out. You shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you.

She's a New York Senator (not a celebrity) and New York loves her. That's all that matters. When she runs for Pres. I will listen to what she has to say. I don't know what that is yet.

They think she is ugly---actually she is pleasant to look at.
They think she is stupid---actually she is one of the most intelligent women in the United States.
She supports many liberal ideas---not necessarily good or bad. But it's just "bad' in their minds.
