Yep -- been doing my "happy dance" all day long, it got bigger and faster when I heard Rumsfeld was resigning ;-)

Although this is completely the USA's affair, but we can not help 'watching with interest' the outcome of this year's Mid-Term election wherein the Democrats won the majority.
In my personal view, there may be some check and balance in what Mr. Bush would decide to do next in terms of Iraq policy. If this would lead to honorable retreat and save more lives and properties from further destruction, then this would prove to be blessings in disguise for everybody in USA as well as who were affected.
Let us hope that this would be a win-win situation for both the major political parties and also for the world!

This country, not the world is celebrating. I could give a sh*t what other countries think of or pretend to care about when it has to do with my country. Yes I'm happy, but if you think the whole world is happy that the democrats now have control your dead wrong. If you are referring to terrorists being happy you are even more wrong, they are afraid of our pullout in Iraq and now have to deal with the UN and their own people. The madness will stop and even that evil fu*k Bush responded with the firing off Rummy! What timing, Bush must just think most Americans are idiots, he destroyed the Republican party and you can't even get one to agree, that's how out of touch they really are. I respect their quiet defeat but what else can they do?

Thi is one of the greatest days in our Democracy. I was shocked that the electorate didn't catch up with W in 2004. I came to the realization that John Kerry was a really bad candidate and Bush survived.
The media is making the Democrat takeover to be a vote against Iraq and Republican corruption. I don't think so. It's a vote against the biggest liar in the history of the world. Nobody of character can stand a liar.
