Appointment of 2 Supreme Court Justices who believe in following the Constitution.
Has made the US more prepared to deal with terrorists.
He's done a lot of good things, and a lot of not-so-good things, too. But you have to have an open mind to see these things.

take one guess as to why you haven't heard anything good, consider the scandals...rep's the media is all over them, the dem's it hits one day and is ignored the next...the good bush has done: just a few but there is a lot more....
largest funding of research for finding alternative fuel sources during any administration
tax cuts for the elderly, increased/streamlined medicaid care
more funding in areas of research concerning aids, cancer and stem cell (not embryonic) than any other administration
more funding toward faith based and government charities that help the poor and indigent and mentally ill
these are just a few off the top of my head...you're right he is not all bad,he's made mistakes like most human beings do just like you and me except we don't have to try and hold up under intense scrutiny and meanness like he does. he may be a politician he may be somewhat prepared for his position but i wonder, he has had to deal with more crisis in the first term alone than any other president to date and all the while being hounded and disrespected by the extremists and the media...i don't know of too many ppl who could have held up like that. i'm am not a huge fan of some of his decisions but he made those decisions based on the only info he had at the time and with the backing of those who now blame him and take no responsibility for their own actions.

The economy is good. He took us right out of the recession left by Bubba Clinton. The stock market is soaring.
More jobs have been created during his tenure than any other president.
We have not been attacked by terrorists on our soil since 9/11. (Which was planned way before he took office.) Compare that to all the attacks during Clinton's reign

Didn't use the oval office for his personal sexual perversion! I'm not saying that Bush is perfect, but at least his personal life isn't interfering w/ his presidency. I think a lot of our problems w/ other country's is because of Clinton's mistakes. Bush had to deal w/ the mess he left!

He's a LEADER not swayed by polls...maybe not always right but PRINCIPALED.
No attacks since 9/11...GREAT economy.
