I would ask a question that's more like a request...
Something like....
Why dont you step down and give someone else a chance to run this country right....

How many generations do you think it will it take before Americans come to their senses and quit electing do nothing politicians who vote to protect the party line to make their particular party look good in the eyes of Americans and actually "DO" something that benefits Americans?
and...
What makes you think and/or feel that you and/or the United States are superior to other nations around the world, that causes you to act like the "worlds policemen" and implement policies and actions, like that of the dictatorships you claim to despise and want to destroy?

1- Do you think your Iraq invaision policy would have been any different if you had actually gone to Vietnam instead of dodging the draft to avoid the conflict?
2- Do you believe that actually seeing a friend die in combat affects the way a person feels about war?

"What is it like to be the president?" and "What are you going to do about global warming, illegal immigrants, aids, and the birdflu?" Maybe even possibly "What are we going to do about Iraq?"

How do you stay so strong in your convictions when so many people want you to change your mind?
What's up next for you after this final term as President?

Honestly? My questions would have nothing to do with politics. I'd ask him about his ranch, and what his favorite horse is like. Then I'd likely get into a discussion of funny horse stories.
The big issues are important too, but I'm interested in learning about what really makes him who he is. It seems boring if you go up to someone and all you can focus on is their job. I think if you meet someone famous, you should try to treat them like a normal person. You can get a better feel for the kind of person they are that way.

First I would get a kindergarten teacher to interpret so he could understand on his level, and attach him to a polygraph machine, then I would ask:
"How do you sleep at night?" and "Do you have a conscience?"
