Given the current situation, given the current economy, the greedy rich people, the war, REALISTICALLY what would you as a president do? By realistically i mean seriously taking into account the obstacles and factors of the people's wants, economic status, and war....see you can say "oh i want to end world hunger" but HOW....when we have to worry about our deficit, then negotiating with strongly traditional or stubborn leaders in starved nations, and then those (congress) who would even consider your motives. So I want some logical answer please, world peace is all fine n dandy, but i'm lookin for what one would do if the responsibilty was in your hands, in real life.

I MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT FLY THIS CARRIER AGAIN...

British Airways has been accused of appalling double standards after admitting Muslim staff may be allowed to wear veils - just weeks after it sent a female Christian worker home - (WITHOUT PAY...!) - for wearing a cross. Check-in worker Nadia Eweida has been on UNPAID leave for a month after the airline banned her from wearing her tiny cross on a chain necklace over her uniform. BA has since added further insult to injury by saying she may return to work wearing her cross - but only "IF she accepts a back room job where she will have no contact with the public."

Furthermore, a BA spokesman has confirmed that "any request from stewardesses or other uniformed staff to wear a full-face NIQAB - (the Muslim veil) - will be given serious consideration."

MEANWHILE...! - a Muslim teacher - suspended from her job for refusing to remove a full-face niqab - has been retained by her school - while ABSENT - SINCE FEBRUARY - on FULL-PAY...!

that when he suceeds to the Throne, he wants 2 coronation ceremonies. The first will be a Christian ceremony and the 2nd is to be a Multifaith ceremony. This is a change of centuries of tradition. Do you think he should do this, or is it another case of Political Correctness going too far?

25 years ago a new board game called risk hit the store shelves. It is a game that requires as much luck as strategic skill. You start the game by taking turns rolling dice to ascertain location, amount of area, and strength. Then you take turns with aggression using the dice to combat neighbors. The attacker has one more dye than does the defender, so the advantage is always to the attacker. The attacker also has control of the battle until his troop strength is depleted. The player who starts the game the strongest is rarely the one who wins because all the other players work against the strongest in their own bids for the win. We can compare this board game to the current circumstances in the world domination efforts of 4 great powers today. America has the greatest strength due to its economic power. China comes second with its tremendous numbers in population. Third is Russia with its remnants of totalitarian elitists. And Islamo fascist, the wild card, religious ferver

Someone had asked if he set it up. The reason some people think that is, he exploited the situation and continues to do so by putting americans in jepordy in the middle east. He's doubled the count of dead americans in the name of 9/11. The company that Cheney was CEO of, acquired billions of $ in contracts, and the price of american oil has risen just as rapidly as Mid-East crude, makes it look like Bush won the lottery, twice! What are the odds?

Anyone out there think that Rush Limbaugh should be banned from the radio? I know he's allowed to express his opinions, but he is so biased against blacks, gays and handicapped people. And yet, he is a bloated, drug addicted, alcoholic, asshole so he has no room to critize anyone until he cleans up his act. Any responses?

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem. This is a quote by someone brilliant. Do you agree? Could trying a little harder to be tolerant of our obvious political differences bring us to the point of intelligent debate? I think yes. Peace to you from frogspeaceflower.

I'm writing a paper on Vietnam and I'm trying to present both arguments on why we should have or should not have been there. Any ideas I could use would be helpful, especially details and opinions on draft dodgers. Thanks.
