To be honest with you, I am tired of always having to "press 1" to hear an automated message in english when I am on the phone. It is bad enough that we have to play touch tag with a prerecorded message as it is. Customer service bit the big one.

When in Rome, do like the Romans's. I wouldn't invade Italy, and expect Italian's to learn English, just because I came there. Whoever thought of this STUPID IDEA needs to have some sense kicked into their stupid A*s!! If you want to live at the North Pole, then I might suggest you learn how to talk the talk, and walk the walk, or stay at home where you belong. Have Fun!!!

It amazes me that something like this is even an issue. It's obvious that English is our language. It always has been and it always will be. This just goes to show you how far out of control political correctness has become. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Absolutely. And no other language should be used in our schools.
My hometown had a lot of 1st generation Italian. They learned the language and never asked our schools to teach their children in Italian. They came here legally and took pride in earning their American citizenship. Great people (great food), great neighbors, I welcome all immigrants like them from any country to America.

English is the official language in the U.S. I don't understand why we cater to other languages when it comes to state documents that is a waste of money.
