IF you truly feel terrorists threaten your freedom, then tell me how you think they could successfully take it away from us?

IF you don't believe they could then why do so many people say our troops are fighting for our freedom? If its not in danger then why are they fighting?

I was thinking about this the other day and I think I thought a bit too much because I've only gone and confused myself.
This is basically what went on in my head:
Where does money come from? Isn't just made in like money producing factories or whatever? If the government is short on money then why doesn't it just make money and use it? but then money would have no value to it would it? so basically what is the point of money, when money is made where does it go to? Please someone help me I'm really lost !
yes this is actually what went on in my head and no it's not a joke question in anyway.....

Al Qaeda's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahri called U.S. President George W. Bush a "lying failure" for saying progress had been made in the war on terrorism, according to a video posted on the Internet on Friday.

"Bush you are a lying failure and a charlatan. It has been three and-a-half years (since the arrests) ... What happened to us? We have gained more strength and we are more insistent on martyrdom," the Egyptian militant leader said

Now, before anyone starts, I have not one iota of sympathy for Al Qaeda or any other terrorist outfit. They are mad dogs and vermin. But my question is, does he have a point? Is the 'War on Terror' failing?

Many avid thinkers believe that most human beings are a nuisance, and are harmful to the earth's environment. Particularly the overly-consumptive Americans. Is there a strategy now planned to wipe out many of us using biological or other means of terror to reduce the population, in the near future? If not,why not? Why would the geeks who play God with technology spare us?

I only ask because everything they say and do leads directly to this conclusion. Washington DC is in the middle of an upsurge of violence currently and most liberal leaders seem hell bent on policies which only leave the general populace more vulnerable, such as even more stringent gun control even though this has been an abject failure everywhere it's been tried. Boston also is in the same situation with leaders pushing the same measures that have failed repeatedly, including a ban on .50 caliber rifles even though they cannot site one case where one of these weapons has been used in a crime, rather than cracking down on criminals who they release repeatedly to commit more crimes they crack down on law abiding citizens god given right to protect themselves and their families, why is there this great aversion to self protection and self preservation when the police have proven time and time again that they and the govt either cannot or will not protect you?
