The French are the master politicians on Earth today.

They are the only country that can get away with bombing Greenpeace. They persecute Muslims with laws against head scarves in schools. They have nuclear weapons and are not afraid to use them. they hate the British, they manipulate the Germans, both of which are larger, more powerful economies.

they still practice Imperialism in Africa with Senegal.

They interfere with Canadian politics via the province of Quebec.

Most Americans seem to hate them, most Islamic countries seem not to think poorly of the French just because they passed on the Iraqi war.

They invest heavily where ever the Americans can't, yet cooperate with America through the UN (mostly) and the European Space Agency.

if there were ever WWIII they would come through for America, but to them, international politics and economics is a big game and they play to win.

They are the masters, they hit way above their weight.

Etiquette, subterfuge, guerrilla, espionage, sabotage, insurgency, politics, repartee, duplicity, parliament, covert, are all French words because our language did not have these terms until they invaded England in 1066.

Think about it.

bottom line: I respect, admire and dislike them.

I think they're interesting, and i'd like to know whether they feel the same about us or if they really would despise me because of my country as they say. I really don't think France really deserves to be put down as a place of cowards and stuff, because I really don't think that's true. Individual people could be, but they're not everyone. It's like America, we have lazy slobs that don't want to do anything but complain when nobody takes more care of them; but some people tend to forget that there ARE people who are not like that. Then there are the people who put France underneath their foot because of a lot of the history there, but once again a lot of people conveiniantly tend forget the history that happened in their own country, for example, how about the witch trials? or a certain King Henry VII? On the whole though, most of Europe fasinates me and I'd love to go and see for myself what it's like.

All of Europe is great with the exception of France.

Which reminds me of a joke
Q: How many French would it take to guard Paris and the Eiffel Tower?

A: Nobody knows, it's never been tried before.

I personally do not mind the French. They were smart enough to stay away from Iraq and most of them are very nice. Me and my family met a very nice French family and they offered to take pictures of me and my family down in Pennsylvania. I am French-American by the way. I do not hate any other European countries because they have put up with our slow President and they help us and we would be doomed without them.

I've only been to parts of Brittany, but I really liked it. The people were really nice and everyone seemed to have a good sense of humor. As far as other European countries go, I've never had any trouble in any that I've been to.
