the truth about karzai is that he is president of nothing..he will not survive without us.if America should leave today .he will not make it to Sunday.

No I don't think so. Brownie would have been gone after the first assassination attempt.

No Karzai is the real deal and if we actually gave him the kind of assistance we are wasting on Iraq, he might actually make the sort of democracy we keep talking about.

I sure wish we'd get serious about all this freedom spreading....

I pity him.... he's placed in charge of a large country with no real support (much fewer American soldiers than are in Iraq)... and tons of terrorists running around...

and Pakistan is not doing much to help and Karzai is getting pissed about that... and the U.S. is, according to troop numbers, at least 7 times more concerned about Iraq... so he feels that he's at the heart of al-queda (the guys behind 9-11) activity, yet Americans won't give him more than a few troops to clean up the mess... and is just letting pakistan loaf around and they can't even control their own country and the U.S. doesn't care about that...
