Those on the left have their collective heads in the sand. Their philosophy is do nothing and maybe the problem will go away. No one likes to use the word "coward." But if you are afraid and are unwilling to fight for what you have, what other word describes you?

Why did the Right ignore it until after Sep. 11th, 2001, and THEN only use it as a reason to attack countries that threatened to lower the price of oil by selling on the open market or who refused to let us put a pipeline through their fields?
There are no Republicans, no Democrats. Only the Corporate Systems. You are a sucker for the hype. The terrorists know it, too. As long as you keep buying their oil, they keep buying guns.
If you want change, keep it in your pocket. Your DOLLAR is your vote and the machines didn't count.

They're not saying it isn't a big problem.
They're saying we're not gonna fight it by occupying Iraq.
Iraq is about OIL not terrorism.
Afghanistan is where the terrorists are, but Afghanistan has no oil so the NeoCons have no interest in going into Afghanistan to fight.
Conclusion: The NeoCons don't think terrorism is a big deal. Only oil is a big deal to them.

Many of us lefties think that you have substituted terrorism for McCarthyism. If you allow the terrorists to change your life as dramatically as the right is doing, then the terrorists have won.
check the history in Britain during the IRA terrorist attacks

Because the right is using smoke and mirrors to steal the coffers of the American people. The government is effectively removing the slats on our house to erect a fence. In other words we are trading our privacy and rights for security. Personally, I would prefer my liberty over any kind of death any terrorist could bring upon me. That, my friend, is the true mark of a patriot.

That's a totally unfair stereotype! It amazes me how people like yourself try to put an entire group of people in a box and attempt to slap a one size fits all label on them.

Because I refuse to be ruled by fear and don't think we should dismantle the Constitution in response to terrorism doesn't mean I think it's not a problem.

Please give me some proof of this statement? Or is just off the top of your head. Oh yea, hows the luck been in finding Osama Bin Laden? You know the guy responsible for the WTC. Yea...I know we have to much going on else where instead of finding the most evil man in the world.

I didn't know they did. Who or what have you been listening to? Isn't the truth usually somewhere in the middle? Extreme leftists do not represent all of the liberal leaners.

this is a gross oversimplification, but;
the terrorists are underprivileged and have a right to be
angry even though bombs might not be the wisest way
to go about gaining the attention their problem needs.
you and i have a perfect right to die if we get in the way
of one of those bombs.
