First there is no such thing as an "illegal war" all that has to happen is war needs to be declared, which it was. Believe it or not the leader of any soveriegn reserves the power to declare war on any other nation, at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all.

Obviously the american people killed that day did NOT deserve such a tragic fate.
But wait a minute...the USA has tremendous track record of bombing whole cities full of innocent people...with TOTAL disregard of casualties.

In fact it could be argued that the USA inspired the attacks of 9/11/01. We think BOMBING is the answer...why should not they?

We are the most effecient BOMBER NATION the world has ever witnessed yet....We act INNOCENT when we get bombed...you gotta be kidding?

Amercans MISSED the lesson of 9/11/01.....OUR VICIOUS nation dishes out death...death shall be returned to us.

I have great sympathy for the victims of 9/11/01...YET have a clue as to how many people our B-17's, B-29's, B-52's, have blown away.

Americans..use strategic bombing, nuclear, indeneary, chemical, we have dumb bombs, smart bombs, missles, daisy cutters, moabs. Yet act innocent on 9/11/01! The laws of averages caught up....the TRUTH is PATRIOTIC..sorry

Just curious as to why people bring the lack of oil into the picture when people comment on the continuing violence in Africa.
I understand the argument that more is not being done to stop it because of a precieved lack of personal gain, the control of oil etc, but can anyone suggest a logical explaination for the continued genocide that has been going on for so long? Who is gaining what?
I read a long time ago that when the US abandoned one of it's modern embassies somewhere in war torn Africa, the insurgents that occupied the facility dismantaled it to the point where they even disconnected and sold the well pumps that supplied the drinking and bathing water to the building they took over and eventualey ruined. How do these people build an economy and feed themselves when they choose to sell their water supply?
You hear about the lack of food but not about the lack of killing.
Maybe if they valued water more then weapons they could grow more food. Let's hope they get it right.

According to ex Sec of DEFENSE Mc Namara 3.5 MILLION Vietnamese were killed in that war.

Amazingly americans consider american dead as 'heros' and memorialise the tiny 58,000 killed. Somehow the 58K american dead are heros and the 3.5 MILLION they helped kill are statistics !!!!!! As if that were not enough ..we were there to HELP them ...LOL...thanks for the help

Has the SICK WAR MONGER USA ever apologized to the world for the damage they did to that country? What about just the women and children our sick forces massacred?

There should be a WAR DEAD MEMORIAL for all the innocent people the USA killed in it's strategic bombings.

It should look just like the Vietnam war memorial and start at the steps of the PENTAGON...it would not stop for MILES.

Again we will CRAWL away in IRAQ as well....we will hail our great heros and attempt to cover our bloody trail of death and destruction. There is nothing heroic about the USA

Romans, vikings and the huns all used tactics that were meant to intimidate, scare and terrorize the enemy during wartime, that is why they were successful for so long. Why is the US military restraining itself against their enemies while they are using those tactics (cutting off heads) against us.
We need to be ruthless, we need to let them know that if they are captured alive they will wish they were dead. Their remains will be covered in the blood of swine, their homes and family will all be destroyed. We need to create such fear in them that they will never dare to harm us. we must threaten their very way of lives and beliefs.
I understand the military is held back from doing this because of PR but we need to get rid of the PR and get Keyser Soze to run the show. We need to make them too scared to fight and shake at the very sight of US soldiers. That is the best way too win.

Hello, I am asking about doing online school while in the Navy. Is it possible to spend 15 hours a week toward online schooling? Is there internet access? Is it hard to do this in the Navy? Will the Navy Help pay for it? Can I attend the classes aboard the ship at the same time? If online schooling is paid for why not? I heard that online is crap but it is education none the less.

Many people today just think that people sign up for the military just because it's a ticket to get out or to further their education but in actuality if it wasn't for the military then right now you wouldn't have all of the freedom you got. So when people decide to join the military you should be glad that someone is brave enough to risk their life for millions of people like you all to be free.

Everyone knew the Soviets were going to be a problem. Patton was the general on the field and knew we could take out the Soviets. We had the bomb and if we had defeated the soviets we would have prevented the cold war, an arms race, and isolated communism to basically just China and maybe North Korea. America would have been the dominant superpower on earth after WWII and much of ongoing conflicts in the world supported by the soviets and now russians would never have happened. Though everybody hates America I would say the world would be a better place under american control than soviet/russian.
