God only knows. There is a terrible evil on this planet that kills not only US soldiers but the innocent civilian people of the world that they are defending.
The US soldier is perhaps the most under appreciated person on the planet.
Their sacrifices are great and their rewards seem few.
If you can find it in your heart, a simple thank you to the man or woman in uniform that you pass on the street might lift their moral just a little bit.
Can you spare two words to the person willing to put their life on the line for others?
Depending on how you answered the last question you now know what kind of person you are.
So does God.
Merry Christmas.

For the remained of this year, by 11:59pm 31 December 2006,
There will be likely 7 to 10 more deaths.

I would say 600-700 American deaths for 2007.

More U.S. citizens will die at the hands of illegal aliens than in both theaters of operations in Afghanistan or Iraq. An equal number will die at the hands of a spouse. 10X more will be killed by a drunk driver. What are you doing about those larger domestic mortality rates in your own country, home state, or county? That somehow isn't as important to you is it?

How many US civilians (like you ) WILL LIVE THIS YEAR because of the heroism of our fighting men and women in the armed forces of our great nation? A simple thanks is usually considered appropriate.....

GOD BLESS AMERICA & MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Would knowing this make you feel better? Is this the kind of information you want for the holidays?

You do realize that there are wives, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters of military members looking at this site. You think that they need to be reminded of the dangers facing their loved ones over the holidays. What about the families of those who were lost? Show some respect!!!!!

You know, you'll probably get similar answers to mine, but I'll be the first- one is too many- How dare decisions be made for "the American people" of whom the majority do not want our soldiers there- young, young men- boys who fear for their lives every day-and when the soldiers who survive finally come home, much later than promised, so many of them suffer from PST- How many of those persons responsible for continuing this occupation have children in Iraq? Again, any more than 1 death is too many-

No enough.....only MEGADEATH of US troops will shock the ignorant US population into the sick realities of our WAR MONGER nation.

THE USA LOVES war as long as it is in someone else's nation.

WE brought this war upon ourselves....the sting of DEATH is part of what we deserve.....live with it.

All of our troops should be buried in CRAWFORD , TEXAS

George Bush should be forced to hand dig every grave at gunpoint.

Probably around a thousand more, but it is hard work, President and Commander in Chief George W. Bush told you that already. Look how hard it s for the government, it is hard work! They work so hard the congress had to take the most vacation time ever this year. Our Presdient and Commander in Chief works so hard to save America that he has had to take the most vacation time ever. It is hard work.

You know what is even more sad??

That you use the tragic deaths of our soldiers to further boost your political agenda.

If I were to say none... that would work against the goal you have of proving that we are in a place we should not be in.

To me that is worse. Your using the deaths of our servicemen and women as a tool to push your agenda.
