Government - October 2006

I moved to another state & am applying for medical help, but I don't have birth certificates for my children. My previous state had sent away to the hospitals where I had my children at for the records that proved they were mine. Now as I have moved, I need the records here, but they said they don't think they will release them. Don't they have to? Esp since it's all the same office, just a different state.
(I DO plan to get their birth certificates when I can afford to, but to get them all right now would be over $100! & they cannot get medical at all until I have it all.)

I think getting rid of political correctness would be a good start; stopping the mass injection of assylum seekers/immigrants as this is a small island; and pulling out troops from Iraq and Afghanistan are my choices. What do you think?

As a co-borrower, the mortgage company does not report the interest paid under her social security number. It is only reported under the primary borrower's social. Can the co-borrower still claim the interest on her taxes? I assume that as long as only one person claims the interest, not both, then there is no problem. But the IRS might think this is fishy if the interest isn't reported under the co-borrower's social.

I ask because I know that alot of Colleges have budget cuts right now-Thats how I got made redundant. I dont know if its the same for schools.
My question is, are these budget cuts due to spending in other areas-i.e. 'The war on terror'? Or is this argument too simplistic? Keeping troops in Iraq and Afganistan must cost an awful lot of tax payers money. Although from what I hear, our troops are chronically short of equiment. Is our country just skint?

I have a question, I have been raised outside of the u.s. my whole life, my mother was born in Michigan, I have just arrived to the states and reside in Kansas, I also have a Kansas drivers license. So to which state am I a resident? Kansas or Michigan. I have never lived in Michigan and I have only lived in Kansas for 4 months. I am 19 years old.
