Making that decision either way is tricky to impossible at best. Every representative has their own religious views, and while they aren't SUPPOSED to come into play, they sometimes do.

The best answer I could offer here is that the Republican party overall is seen as more friendly toward religion, even though this is mostly their own self-made image, as Democrats are quite friendly to religion but less willing as a whole to use it to get votes. I speak with trends here rather than my own personal views.

On the whole I would say how government is bringing religion into every race as a determining factor of voting is getting way out of hand. It was best set by Nebraska governer candidate David Hahn, who said, "God has no party."
