Usually, we already know the negative background of the said officials, based on his/her records and questionable achievements and yet, we still keep on electing them. And when they are already in the hot seat, we are the first one to criticize them.

The US is always saying how it wants to spread democracy to other parts of the world, especially when speaking about Iraq, North Korea, etc.. But does the US have a truly democractic system? After all, what it has now is a two party system which doesn't really represent every citizen's views. How can the US truly be the model for democracy that the founding fathers envisioned?

Surely, there is a way that Americans can vote on issues, and truly run this country by what "Americans" want collectively, and not what a senator wants because they got money from a big company. We can have voting machines like ATM's, we wouldn't have to pay high salaries for congree and the senate. Also,Why have the electoral college at all when we can one day just vote for presidency in our living rooms? Points to ponder.
