Politicians are a disgrace. I cant wait until these elections are over already!!

"Joe Schmo" voted to go to war
"Joe Schmo" voted to raise taxes
"Joe Schmo" had an affair with a donkey

Its a joke how dirty these politicians can get.

I'm also fed up with the negativity. Republicans promised 90% negative ads and they delivered. If Democrats don't respond, they'll be seen as wimps or as tacitly admitting the allegations are true. Remember the Swift Boat Veterans, organized just in time for Kerry's candidacy by the Republicans?

Well the primary elections are coming up, so there's going to be alot of them. Not really anything we can do about it (other than elect people who's platform consists of not campaigning, which is a bit anti-intuitive) you could just stop watching television if it's that bad. Maybe read a book. Those don't have ads in them usually.

Political ads are kind of like being pregnant. It lasts just a little longer than you think it should.

Its all BS propoganda that really tells you NOTHING!!!!! If I had to go by the ads alone there may be a problem come election time because I would have no choice but to snap and hijack a voting booth.

Heck no! The ones here in Michigan, for the gubernatorial race between Granholm and DeVos, and the senatorial race between Stabenow and Bouchard are just awful. Lies, smears, half-truths etc. I can't stand them because they're just typical sound-byte smears.

I refuse to watch them, and am actually considering 3rd party because of them.

ads down here in florida are very much dirty tricks and lieing. A waste of time. When I vote, I never can find the "none of the above" button.

What I get fed up with is candidates who spend more time telling me why I shouldn't vote for the other guy than they do telling me why I should vote for them.

They will all be over in November. Listen to the ads, they do help you make a decision.

No - I'm disgusted too. It's only two more weeks. But the barrage will only intensify until the end.

I've loaded up my car with CDs so I can listen to my music instead . . .
