Hello. Does anyone remember WACO?

It doesn't matter dem or repub. IT's the same government. Same boss, same story.
The government will come in and kill your children and tell you with a strait face they deserved it because they were being molested.

They will now use the military on civilians and children on your own homeland if they see you as a "cult" leader--or any leader with promise and military capability.
Unconstitutional? You saw it happen with your own eyes that the military will be used against civilians on your land and what they will do if you go against them.
Why do people think it's so far fetched that the government would plan out and kill it's own civilians?

There is so much Bush bashing on here that I feel its time to be positive for a change. So, it should be an easy matter to find just 3 positives...heres mine:

1] He is strong on terror

2] America is safer since he came to power

3] He strobgly supports Israel

OK, so it depends on your point of view...but come on guys, lets hear it for GW

The u.k. government is again thinking of increasing the price of drink ,with the hope that it will cut down on underage drinking.
Surely this is not the solution, to me, its just another excuse to bring in more revenue.
There has been countless price increases with tobacco prices which, just increased the amount of illegal imports so, will the same apply to drink.
This government always thinks (wrongly) that to up the price of everything gets rid of the problems are they misguided or what ?

I don't care if you like or dislike Blair but should this practice be allowed given that the country voted for Blair to be PM.

Is it fair to install a new prime minister (someone the public has no say in!) half way through a parliment? whoever that might be?

And is Brown the right man for the job?

In my social studies class we are discussing "how much control should the government have over limiting our right to freedom of speech, what limits should be set?"
i was just wondering what other people's opinion on this were? do you think the government should have the power to censor the media or ban certain things from being said? Or do you think society would benefit from having books and various other things, even what people are allowed to say, being banned just because a few people find it offensive?

anyways i was just curious as to what other people thought. i hope i explained my question well enough.
