i live in one of the ancient african country- Ethiopa. so far ,the country is being governed by autocrats.but i do believe that the present government is better than the previous one.but still there is no real democracy in the country.people get impriosoned just because of opposing the gov'nt,just because of pointing at the wrong things of the governemnt,people killed just becase of protesting ........

I’m a full blown liberal and I’m proud of it this war is taking us no were we were told the Iraqis would greet us if u liberated them sure they are greetings us alright with ak-47s ieds and sharp dull knifes. since we have invaded Iraq there has been 3 thousand murders in Iraq a month. u have terrorists taking the whole joint over thousands of American solders dead. even the Iraqi police cant protect themselves they get killed and beheaded to death like everyone else in the sand box. can anyone name anything that’s going right in iraw i doubt it its was way better off when sadam was the president then us being in charge.

It seems to me that ordinary people are like work slaves with fully loaded machine guns, but they are dragging rocks along the path chosen by a few bossy people who only have sticks to beat us with.

For example: We can get multi-national corporations to change their policies where they cause inequality and abuse. We have the power of where to spend our hard-earned money!

Individually it doesn't amount to much, but if enough of people vote with their money, corporations and governments will listen, cause they depend on each other. Also voting through the ballot box for people with similar inclinations would also help.

What do u think?

I have never had a response like this to any Yahoo question. It's encouraging that so many of you have something to say. The word "blame" has been used a lot, but who is to blame for indoctrinating young impressionable men and turning them into suicide bombers? This does not happen overnight. I am blaming neither right nor left. I simply wondered how many of you out there agreed with Ruth Kelley. It is a little late in the day to say "multi-culturalism" was a mistake, isn't it?
