It depends upon what is the meaning of Independence for us !

Independence from foreign rule ?
Independence from corrupt leaders and exploitation ??
Independence from the problems of our own life like sadness, sorrow and troubles ???

We got independent from the foreign rule of britishers. That phase of Independence is over and we need not fight for that.

but unfortunately, We are being exploited by our own people in our own country. We need to get independence from the evil forces of society.

apart from this big scene, we are always burdened by various factors causing problems to us. We are captives in the hands of greed, selfishness, communal hatred etc. we need independence even from all these to improve and develop spiritually and intellectually.

Gaining the first independence is very easy compared to the other two types. We gained the first part anyway. we need to work out on the remaining two types, which are inter related.

I humbly bow for the patriots who sacrificed their lives at tender ages, left their career, relations, comforts and happiness for the sake of motherland. They did all this to make us independent from the foreign rule of britishers. They expected that we all would live in peace in a socialist, secular and democratic country.
but, what are we doing today ? We betrayed their sacrifice !!!

We need to start a new revolution once again and change the history and re write the future of modern India !

According to me,we are not still really free from those corruptions though we got independence since 1947.We can view this from the following:
(1.)The students from open category has to struggle very hard to get admissions in good colleges. The students scoring even 82% in SSC/HSC doesn't get seats in good reputed colleges whereas students from SE ST or others get easily seats for even 70%. Are the students from open category made a great sin?
I'm not able to understand that why these people then say that all people should be united or equal if these lots of partiality are made against open category. Is this meaning of justice?
(2.) If we lodge a complain in the police station, it will take 2-3 months or even many decades to take action.Are these things would not be knowing to the higher officials? Definitely, they do know this but they will keep mum as the money in their pockets will speak several things about the corruption which we can call as "Under table act." I think these two examples are more sufficient because living in this nation I can't go beyond that ,but still I feel proud to be a citizen in the country like India!....
