First off this government is very capable of pulling somthing like that off. Because most of them are Skulls and Bones it would have been easy for them. My favorite piece was the pictures of the explosions coming out of the building 10floors below the collapse. Also beine a former carpenter I understand how thosethings are built and I understand how metal will weaken and building 2 should have fell sideways if it was not controlled. Look up Loose Change and they have a great documentary

1.What is the strange pod on the right hand side of the underbelly of the plane that slammed into the south tower. There is nothing remotely similar to that on a commercial jet. Also the underbelly of a commercial boing 757 jet is very smooth and the one that hit the south tower has ridges along the entire length of the
underbelly.

2.On the footage of the plane hitting the North tower there is a clear, massive flash of light BEFORE the plane strikes the building. It has been slowed down many times and there is a clear, very bright flash of light well before the plane hits the tower. You can check for yourself, after all you are journalists.

3.Larry Silverstein was the leaseholder of the entire world trade center site and he is on film saying that he ordered WTC 7 to be demolished at 5 pm on September 11 but it takes weeks or even months to plan a demolition on that scale.

4.Engineering experts from all over the world have said that the twin towers collapses had all the hallmarks of controlled explosives. Both buildings fell at freefall speed which is only possible with strategically placed explosives (flashes of thermite has been discovered on some clips of the towers falling. They also reminded us that no steel building has ever (before or since 9/11) been destroyed by intense fire.

5.The crash site in Pennsylvania showed absolutely no signs of aircraft debris. (or human remains according to the coroner at the scene). He said "I stopped being coroner after about 20 minutes because there wasn't a single drop of blood to be found.

6.The Pentagon is one of the most videotaped buildings on Planet Earth. On 9/11 there were 8 cameras on the outside of the Pentagon facing in the direction that the object came from. The amount of footage that captured the object that hit the Pentagon must have been huge yet the only thing that the world has seen so far is around 18 grainy images of something that looks nothing like a commercial airline.

7. After the Pentagon was hit by an object the outer wall remained intact for about 1-2 hours after the strike. that would be absolutely impossible if a 100 ton 50 foot high commercial jet slammed into it (without leaving a single mark on the lawn of the Pentagon)

8. The 9/11 commission report concluded that WTC 7 (which was never hit by aircraft) was destroyed by fire when Larry Silverstein is on video tape saying that they decided to "PULL" the building (demolish it with explosives) He would not have gotten a cent in insurance if the 9/11 commision report had concluded that WTC 7 was demolished with explosives.

9. Why did US secretary of state Condoleeza Rice telephone the mayor of San Francisco on September 10th 2001 to tell him not to fly to New York the next day amid security fears.

10.Isn't it more than a coincidence that Marvin Bush was director of security of the World trade centre until September 10th 2001 when he stepped down.

I can't find the link now, but I read where a class of German and Swiss engineering students built a handful of structurally-correct scale models of the twin towers, and couldn't even come close to getting the towers to fall the way they did using only jet fuel and building materials for accelerants and a heat source, as was true in the original disaster.

The best they could do was to get two of them to melt enough on one side for the weight of the top floors to tip them over like dominoes. Consensus agreed that likely, only charge-shaped demolitions by trained experts could get them to topple straight down rather than tipping over to one side, the side opposite where the jet fuel and wind were coming from.

Also, there is no logical reason in the world why Building # 7 should have collapsed on its own just from its proximity alone. It wasn't really all that close and the winds were fairly calm. It was a much, much shorter building and heat rises, it does not sink. That is one of the most basic laws of nature.

I don't understand WHY our government would do something like this in the first place. It would take WAY too many people to pull this off in the second place. Besides, it is almost impossible for someone to keep a secret in Washington. 5 years later you would have heard from at least 50 people by now that they were involved, etc.

A group of terrorist attacked the WTC in 2001. It wasn't our government or anything close.

My reasoning for why it's not.

Say for instance, a vast conspiracy with lots of planning and many people involved, did happen. How can they screw up Iraq so bad?
All they had to do was place the drugs on the drug dealer.

If they can attack their own country without any moral ambiguity to justify war. Why can't they have just planted some WMDs, then "find" them to further justify their war?

Because they're too incompetent for a conspiracy and over confident to pull off war with an end.

In every 9/11 recording i've seen there shows evidence of a flash before the plane crashes into each tower. Conspiracy nuts believe that it was a missle of sorts launched a moment before impact, and that they planes were not commerical airlines either.
