Is it a mistake? Didn't it work well up until this point? I am not a liberal by any means, but we have people from a great many cultures here who have blended in and become part of our society. It's just this one segment that is causing trouble. But we aren't allowed to "profile" that would be bigoted. right? So what choice do we have but to pay for our mistakes and watch as our children and grandchildren pay for our mistakes.

Actually I thought it was 63% of Americans felt that Islamic extremism was a threat.
You might want to check on some terms too; Muslim is more of a race and not a religion; Islam is the primary religion in the Muslim world. Add to this mix the Kurds, Shiites and Suni's not too mention the persians - most of these groups most Americans lop into one "Muslim" category but they all have different beliefs....believe me they are not so much fighting us in Iraq as they are these different groups.
And you are right about the assessment of them indoctrinating young people into hating Israel, the west and anything but fundamentalist Islam. That is a sincere problem; and the US should demand access to the public airwaves there and work hard with public service announcements and the like to let them know we mean no harm.

People are very impressionable as masses !
Propaganda machines do work, otherwise governments would not have poured millions of dollars into them. They specially work well, in USA, as people have less access to non US media.
So a 53% perception means not much ( it is almost 50-50 anyway by your account ).
During WWII , majority of Germans perceived that all Jews were evil and posed a threat ! because of Nazi propaganda machine!
Were they right !
We live in a small planet, for humanity and humans to have a future, Multi-culturalism is a necessity .
To "netjr" ;
So "Muslim is more of a race and not a religion" , what none-sense !
Persians are Muslim and "Aryans"
Iraq, Saudis ... are Muslim and "Arabs"
Indonesians are Muslim and "far Easterners "
Pakistanis are Muslim and "Pakistani"
if you don't know, keep silent !

If it isn't religion that causes war it will be hair color or whatever seperates a few and is used to portray as better or worse than the majority.
The only group who can't get along with anyone is Muslums. They are taught from the start to hate Jews, Hindus, Christians, Catholics, Atheists, etc. The hate is state sponsered as well as religion enforced.
Multiculturalism only works where people are truely peaceful or where it is forced as in the former Yugoslvia or Iraq under Saddam. Oh wait - it didn't really work there did it?

Multi-culturalism? I don't know about different races and religions being able to live together, how about the clashes that take place every week in this country over the differences perceived by supportes of football teams.

OK ,here's my view ...get ready as some ain't gonna like it,.......take Somalians, A thousand years of virile hatred of their neighbours, their own people. The entire country is an Arms Factory churning out weapons as if they were loaves of bread, ...why?? so they can take another gangs territory to rule , murder. rape . steal other gangs spoils of other gangs raids.....
So what are we as English people than just another tribe ripened to plunder. The filth have already started that here and it will escalate.
The Slovaks hate their neighbours as the war in the former Yugoslavia testifies , they will continue to hate each other over here.......
The Muslims hate their Jewish neighbours as they do in the Middle east and with as much vigour here. ...........and will always continue to do so.......Sikhs Hate their own race of 'Indian' brothers as they do here.....etc...etc...and the 'Blacks' ..... well...I'll leave you to your own assumptions on them..............We need a change in this country that would completely and utterly strike a chord of such magnitude that
would leave the most hardend of men a fearful shambling wreck.........and that change is only with the BNP....They are ready , willing , and more than capable of the task that lies ahead. All you gotta do .............is vote.

I think Ruth Kelley (and others) have admitted that multiculturalism is a mistake, which begs the question 'what do we do to change it'.

multi-culturalism is the curse of the Jew that will haunt the world until enough people understand it and are willing to remove it.
