I hear people gripe and complain on nearly a daily basis about how the government is doing us wrong. They ARE correct, but when I ask them what they have done about it, they shrug their shoulders. Call, write, and email every politician that you know, and speak your mind!

Immigration problems would dissapear. Economy would grow (for both). This would help to stabilize the region. If not the 51st State, then break Mexico up into several (or many) States.

In his lifetime, hitler did not personally kill anyone, he ordered the extermination of over 3 million jews, handicapps, jypsies, blacks, and all that opposed him.

But Stalin Proudly claims to have personally killed 15,000 people and ordered millions more killed, of his own people! collectively, he caused the death of over 43 million people!

i am not argueing for Hitler, im just saying its irrational.

The majority vote of the average American citizen should determine who becomes our President, not the Electoral College. In this age of technological innovation, congress should put more funds into developing reliable technology that will ensure a flawless voting process and, in turn, eliminate the need for the Electoral College.

First off, I am an American. But I was wondering why other countries have sucessful dollar coins like the UK and Canada while we have bills and the obscure sacagawea dollar.
Do we just hate coins, or some other reason.

Im just qurious how many Americans would be in favor of the U.S withdrawing all funds, and support from the United Nations, as well as absolving all of our participation, and obligations to them. Please briefly discuss why.

the plane that did not hit the pentagon really landed at an air port and the terriorst shot all the passengers ...and the plane that did not hit the ground in PA actuly did not crash it was evacuated and the passengers were also shot and killed . what actuly happend to the pentago an american F-16 shot a missle into the pentagon and the twin towers were rigged with bomes ... it was all planed just for the oil and so we can start a new war. and if you have your own opnion about this then you can think that because i have famile in the secret servise and trust me i know what heppend and im sorry for the ones who lost there famelie in 9/11 but thay lost there life because of the goverment! and i dont think that bush should hide all this info to the world he just needs to tell the world that the goverment was a part of planning of 9/11 ,,thank you for your time.

How much do most people think the federal government neads to do?
I, for one, think that it should be almost completly taken over at the state level. The USA is simply to large and diverse for a federal "one size fits all."
The federal government should only be in charge of the following:

Massive desaster relief (when a single state is overwhelmed)
Foreign Policy
Defense (including coast guard)
Defending Human Rights and the Constitution
Interstate Highways
International Borders

And absolutely NOTHING else! It could be accomplished far more efficiantly and effectively at the state level.

What the heck is that guy doing? He's crazy! He's testing missiles (long range too) without the UN giving them permission and everyone is telling him not too yet he does it anyway. Don't you think it's a little crazy to go against the UN when one- you're country has no friends and no one understands you and two- your saying your going to attack the U.S if they attack you! YA! And I can run a Ferrari into a brick wall at full speed and survive ;). SSSSUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRREEEEEEE. War is a retarted excuse and people die for no good reason. They shouldn't be firing missiles, especially when the rest of the world hates them.
