Have you tried to buy a house lately, it'll cost you a lot more. Have you tried to sell a house lately, good luck. Adjustable house loans you already have, new car loans, credit card rates, business loans, it all costs more now that we're spending, what is it, 4 billion a month in Iraq to find WMD. Somebody has to pay for that bloody, dead end quagmire. Guess who that is.

I wonder if the reason we see such poor governance in Africa is at least partly due to the psychological and sociologial scars left by the colonialists who so ruthlessly tore the continent apart?

I also wonder why after all these years African leaders in general still seem to be intoxicated with power and riches and aren't more determined to establish the principles that will lead to lasting prosperity for all their people throughout future generations?

I don't know all the facts so don't shoot me! I'm asking you to tell me if I'm thinking in the right direction or not.

Let's imagine all the countries cancel their borders and yet there is only one government called the 'world government' or the 'world country' on earth.
Since there is only one government, there is no possibility of having wars with any other country cos there is no other country.
Since there is no possibility of having wars, the world government doesn't need to spend the seventy percent of the country's source(which is money) to the armament just like all the countries do today.
And therefor the world government can spend that money for the welfare of its people.
Can you imagine what a huge amount of money would be saved?
There would be no poverty if the system could be formed accordingly. So there would be no poverty anywhere on earth.
Plus there would be no wars...
Instead of the armament, perhaps there would be only the police who would set the peace.
Don't you think this would be an ideal world?
