If it were possible, it would've been done long ago.
I agree that religion is a major factor when it comes to wars, but that's only scratching the surface. For as long as we have leaders like Tony, George, and John in power, we're officially screwed and sanctioned to a life of greed, war, hate, and abused power.

In or on? That is the question. Are you serious??? Bush and his side kicks will lose so much money if the companies they have shares in stop making weapons. They will also not be able to send the balance of the other companies into the countries they just destroyed to rebuild them! That's how money is made!

there might not be away. u c in the 20th centry there was not a single day that a war took place. so for 1000 years there was a war 24/7

I honestly don't believe we can.
Religion and politics are certainly in the mix, but it's the human condition that creates the thirst for war.
Until we can change our spiritual condtion we cannot stop war. I cannot imagine this world without someone raging somewhere.

If we stop being so small minded and grouping ourselves into gangs protecting our territories and brandishing our colours then maybe we could see the big picture. We are all one people, stuck here together on this little ball. There should be one governing body for the planet with no boundaries.

Very easy answer to this, wipe out man kind, and that's the end to it, because it will never stop, because we are full of greed, hate, and have lost the will to love, not everybody, but more and more each day.

we can try but as long as there are almost 7 bill people and rising there will always be disputes for best land and resourses which lead to war. (so yes if we move to diff planets or most of us die)
