I'd vote for a good and decent candidate of either gender.
At this point I don't believe one exists in either gender or party even though "W" has brought the standard down so incredibly low.

Why must you clarify a "female" why can't we just agree that we would vote for a qualified candidate male or female for the position of President of the United States, should they run! Negates the question, eh! Why don't we vote on the most qualified rather than the most "popular" generally "man", at the time of the vote.....It should not be based on gender (although it has always been in the past), it should be based on qualifications...and there are some very qualified individuals out there that are not necessarily male...so I guess, my answer to your question, is yes, I would vote for a female running for the position of the President in the next election should I consider them the best qualfied for the position - and - IF they would run for the position.
Unfortunately, my question back to you is: Even if there is a qualified female candidate, (and I do believe there are several) Would a qualified female candidate run for the position of President of the United States, and my best guess is no!

I would have no problem voting for a female for president but do I believe there is a female in the field of politics right now worth voting for? Nope. If we can find a decent female I would vote for her but actually that brings up another point...the guys aren't any better than the girls so this will be another interesting election.

No. And the reason why is probably not what you think.
While I believe that a well qualified woman is more than capable of serving as President, the majority of the foreign countries that she would have to develop a relationship with are not ready to accept a female head of state.

Yes and if Hillary runs I will campaign for her. There is a growing undercurrent of support among men for her. She has the potential to bring millions of new women voters in from both parties. Being married to Bill gives her war veteran status. She is 'sharp'. Watch....she's going to be the next president of the United States. This from a lifelong Republican.

I'll give a qualified yes.......as in....which candidate? What platform is she running on? I wouldn't give an abitrary no to any candidate until I saw what they stood for and against. And as has been the case over the last few elections....would I hate her less than who she's running against?...how sad...

How might want to this be a problematic one to respond to? You provide possibilities of three actresses who do not even understand a thanks to spell structure and one former Governor. it would might want to be Sarah Palin, of direction. even if, interior the authentic international, there are not any females (or adult males for that count) who're applicants for the workplace. you may want to a minimal of have placed yet another qualified female on your record mutually with Condoleezza Rice.

It would depend on the female. I would never vote for someone based only on their gender.
