How do they come up with this polls that shows the ranking of the presidential candidates? I never got asked by anybody on how I vote.. Do they at random pick people to interview? Do they make phone calls to random people? How do they get this information and how accurate is it really?

first of all we have oprah openly supporting obama, and now we have chuck norris openly supporting mike huckabee.

dont you think that is a little unfair for the rest of the candidates?

we all know how much "power" a celebrity has, i wonder how many people will vote for obama simply because oprah said it was the best candidate.

I love my country. Definitely not Hilary or Obama.

Even though voting is like pissing in the ocean, who should I vote for?

I own a house.
Prior military.
Been arrested for public intox (a month ago)
Immigration (hmmm...Don't know about the ones who are already here)
Abortion (Yes if it was rape)
Gays (Don't care)
Don't ask, don't tell (Don't care)

Morgage crisis assistance (I'll apply since my house value hasn't gone up much in a year)

Iraq, Iran, Afgan (Brother in the army and don't want him to get killed)

Other issues.......I'll add details later.

Who should I vote for?

Now that the crack down is heading towards the employers, I guess he won't be in that boat alone. But for shame he is a candidate for president and allowing this to happen shows me what an idiot he is.

What are some practical ways to encourage political awareness and participation among our youth? What is preventing young people from voting? Is it realistic to hope for a change in this trend anytime soon? I'd love to hear from young and old alike.
