Can somebody (preferably a liberal) please explain Hillary's qualifications to be the next President of the United States to me? Anyone is welcome to join in, but I can't figure out what her appeal is. I haven't come across anything she has DONE to qualify her. Answer away.

A friend of mine said that college papers written by Hillary were sealed and that no one could see them. What is her argument for not releasing these papers? I mean she just berated Obama over some paper he wrote in Kindergarten, and yet she hides her college papers?

It's my first time voting and gun rights are a big issue for me. I want to make sure that I am not voting for some one who is gonna try and ban the ownership of fire arms.

I've never participated in a poll, and just like everyone else in my generation, I have a cell phone and not a land-line phone, which leaves us out of these polls and the results become dangerously biased. A substantial portion of the public opinion can be inadvertently or intentionally shaped by 'Polls'. Political pundits on national television and other opinion shapers are quick to quote any poll which helps their position. How seriously do we need to take this embarrassing situation and what would be our action plan to help to improve this method of data collection? Why are we tolerating the fact that a certain demographic, a very important one, is being completely excluded? Am I missing something here?

I just watched the news tonight, and profiles of several candidates, and the only ones that made any sense to me are Huckabee and Edwards. Both represent their parties beliefs, both are experienced, neither are loose cannons or hotheads. Anybody think this may be it too?

I do. If he does - I hope he chooses Joe Biden as his VP. That would be a great ticket : Obama/Biden.

He clearly has appeal across party lines and considering that the Republicans and Democrats are offering terrible choices would you support Dobbs

What is your main issue

And party affiliation

I would support Dobbs in a heartbeat my main issue is illegal aliens and Im registered Decline to State which is like independent in other states

This is the central issue I will be voting on. It affects my family directly and I am sick of NO ACTION by the federal government. They talk about it until they are blue in the face but will they do anything, no. Meanwhile the problem continues to grow and when we try to address it on the state or local level we get overruled by the federal government saying immigration is their domain. But then they continue with the status quo which is obviously not working. So this is the issue I am voting on... wanted to hear if anyone feels the same or if not, which issues you feel are more important...

What I mean is, when growing up I always heard (as I'm sure most of you did) "The Democrats are for the working man & The Republicans are for Big Business"...

When did this thought process change?
