I just watched the news tonight, and profiles of several candidates, and the only ones that made any sense to me are Huckabee and Edwards. Both represent their parties beliefs, both are experienced, neither are loose cannons or hotheads. Anybody think this may be it too?

I'd love to see that match-up. I've always liked Edwards, and Huckabee has intrigued me recently, so that'd be a tough one (for me), but I'd probably still go with Edwards. Who would you chose as running mates? I'd go for Edwards-Obama and could see maybe a Huckabee-Guliani or Huckabee-Romney ticket.

John Edwards represents his parties progressive platform, Mike Huckabee does not. He isn't a fiscal conservative with his record of tax hikes and amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Personally I'd like to see Edwards vs. Paul

It will be President Rudy, after he beats Hillary in November!

That would be an interesting combination though. I would have to vote for Huckabee. Hadn't considered that one. Problem is Edwards has about as much chance as Ron Paul - NONE!

"President Huckabee" sounds very strange but MUCH better than "President Hillary" - that's nauseating!

I think Huckabee is a possible but I don't think Edwards will be nominated by his party.

I would have to say I couldn't support either of them. Huckabee claims to be a Christian which is okay to me because I am one too but I don't think he is strong enough in his stance on the Constitution. I don't agree on nearly enough things with Edwards to vote for him. My vote is going for the most Constitutional candidate, Ron Paul.

I like them both, it would be a good race. It would be good to have an election that didn't seem the lessor of two evils (ie. Hillary vs. Rudy).
