Your company's high deductible plan is a great solution to your problems - and it already exists! Your company just doesn't tell you about it because it's a FREE plan, that's right - NO monthly premiums. you get the same discounts as people with a PPO plan, only you pay nothing. Your deductible is $2200 a year per person, family plans are an even better deal if you have 3 or more people participating because there's a household cap. Traditional PPO requires a $2000 medical and $1000 prescription deductible - totally separate from each other, where the high deductible plan is combined.
Again NO monthly premiums, same benefits as PPO's, same doctors, same choices. How do you pay for this if there's no deductible? You can enroll in a government savings account - again, free of cost, tax-free even! You earn interest on the money you don't use, and you can keep it for the rest of your life. You get a debit card so you have instant access to your money. You can save up to the deductible..

What is up with that? Am I wrong for thinking that if you don't care enough about the USA to learn the language you shouldn't be voting? Isn't it written in the Constitution somewhere that you have to be a citizen to vote? What the hell is going on here?

Will we ever hear Mexican politicians debate in English?
Why don't the Democrats debate in Chinese, Korean, and other languages as well.. since they're pandering to the Hispanic vote so much?
Are you turned off by this or do you think it's a good thing.

Just wondering what people think of Oprah, as a public figure on television, so blatantly suppporting Obama.. will this help or hurt his campaign? Should she have to give other candidates equal time..?
Is it really right for television to take sides.. in any venue.
Not saying right or wrong, just asking a question. Thank you.

It is so sad that in actuality our ability to nominate the best presidential candidate is dependent upon how many millions of dollars they have to get their voice heard. Although Mike Huckabee is so incredibly under funded, he continues to gain support, inch by inch, due to his ideals, unity, compassion, humility, and everything else this country so badly needs in a leader. Mark my words, he will continue to gain support, and while the other candidates sling the usual mud at each other, Mike Huckabee will stand strong for his convictions and use his time to wisely tell the American people what he can do for this country rather than run another candidate into the ground. We need someone who knows what it's like to have clipped coupons, faced adversity, and has experienced the same things as the average Joe. A miracle is about to happen to this nation, so sit back and watch as Mike Huckabee takes center stage - inch by inch.

people have a bad idea about him but i think is all because of the war. nobody in this country wants their solders to die. maybe if nothing of this happened Bush will be on the top just like he did in the fist few months of his office.

This from today's (9/9/07) NY Times Magazine:
There are at least 1/2 doz reasons that a lot of political prognosticators, including many inside his own party, will tell you that Rudolph Giuliani will never be the Republican nominee for president, no matter what the polls say. They are, in no particular order:
1. As NY mayor, he was pro-choice, pro-gun control and pro-gay rights.
2. He has demonstrated an odd propensity over the years of publicly dressing up in women's clothing, proof of which is now readily available online, including a disturbing clip of Donald Trump nuzzling thr mayor's bosom.
3. He once endorsed Mario Cuomo for governor.
4. Once while mayor he holed up for months at the apartment of a gay couple who were close friends of his. Try explaining that one at Bob Jones University.
5. He has divorced 2 times; the last time he broke the news to his family on national television. His 2 children don't seem inclined to vote for him, let alone nominate him for father of the year.
6. Presidential politics.......

Hillary Clinton's greatest supporting demographic is women. Including black women. Oprah Winfrey's greatest demographic is also women. Also including black women. However, even Hillary cannot compete with Oprah when it comes to influence amongst women. With Oprah supporting Obama, (and now much more openly and boldly) how possible is it for Hillary to win the Democratic nomination?

His Best friend (I eat steak, Bush) has endorsed Howard at APEC. He is going to lead this next election and is full of himself and confident that he will win it. This leads me to believe that this slippery little man has something up his dirty tracky sleeve. Can the Australian people believe him? Mr Smirk (Costello) will have the same old tired policies that his Master had but with a different spin. Please let APEC be his last Hurrah.

Great apathy and negative feelings are being noticed in Yahoo Answers Forum towards Hillary Clinton's presidency. Most of the criticism is not based on any firm and consistent facts / convictions. But they are the voters and power lies in their hands for choosing. The damage may be done.

One wonders whether the apathy is specific to Hillary Clinton or the American society has not yet evolved enough to accept a woman as their president.

Experience is some thing which can't be wished away. That Hillary as wife of Bill Clinton, President for 8 years preceded by his tenure as Governor , Arkansas state is some thing solid. Most of the women chief executives of countries across the world have been the popular choice of their people by virtue of being the wifes / daughters of the earlier leaders of the nations.
Take the case of the longest reining British Queen Elizabeth II, though a constitutional ( ceremonial )Head of the state is there by virtue of being daughter of the previous king.

If you want government sponsored Health-Care/other tax payers paying for other's...YOU are the problem in America. If you are offened that a 7 year old child say's a prayer in a public owned school and yet you feel it's perfectly alright for a gay pride parade featuring drag-queens prancing down "PUBLIC-OWNED" streets in front of small children should be constitutionally protected...then YOU are the problem. If you feel that government brings prosperity and corporations (who employ millions) oppress people...then YOU are the problem. If you believe the government creates jobs...then YOU are the problem. If you believe that the rich don't pay enough taxes (84.5%) then YOU are the problem. If you believe the poor pay taxes (-34.8%) then YOU are the problem. If you believe that food stamps & the 4.2 Trillion paid to fight poverty works...then YOU are the problem. If you think the same people that run any City, County or Federal office should run health-care..YOU are the problem 100%
