Hillary Clinton's greatest supporting demographic is women. Including black women. Oprah Winfrey's greatest demographic is also women. Also including black women. However, even Hillary cannot compete with Oprah when it comes to influence amongst women. With Oprah supporting Obama, (and now much more openly and boldly) how possible is it for Hillary to win the Democratic nomination?

I wouldn't say it guarantees a loss for Hillary, but Oprah's support of Obama will certainly have an effect. There are indeed people who will vote for the candidate that their favorite celebrity (whomever that may be) endorses. That's why candidates accept celebrity endorsements.

I find it interesting that many people think all White women are going to vote for Hillary and all Black men are going to vote for Obama. And, Black women are indecisive until Oprah tells them what to do. That is rather pathetically condescending to all three groups.

Obama is rather vulnerable in journey or something that provides you a clue as to what he needs to do as president. of direction Oprah does not be for him if white, she could be throughout Hillary for the interest!

Oprah may be the "black friend" that white women gravitate to in this politically correct society because they feel that they need at least one, but they are not about to follow her to the polls.

No, Oprah is so Rich she doesn't know what it is like to be poor!

Hillary leads the race by far, and she is not losing ground!

Oprah is a performer!

No... Even as a black person, i gotta say, 'they' want some old, conservative-ish democrat white broad before 'they' would ever want a progressive, young-ish black man in the white house.

Oprah can't stop that. I mean Oprah is God incarnate, but nothing can stop a Hillary win. Obama as VP, maybe.

For the last 2 decades there has been pretty much the same crap. I think Obama would be pretty refreshing.

And Oprah can sway way more female votes then Hilary. Its kind of funny when you think about it.

No, Oprah's "followers" aren't lemmings. Heck, she keeps telling them not to be. Actually it's sort of interesting for an independent voter such as myself to see whom the Dems nominate and why...
