the media already chose who the democrat is it's either a women or a black man. now are we ready to chose a black man or a women for president i don't think so. so we are going to see either a black man or a women against a white man running for this position right? and you all know that's what's going to happen because the media want's it this way so it would go down in history that a black man or a women running for prsident.thank you

There ya go....... its all media.............. too bad it cant be who is best for the country, or who the voters pick, and not the electoral votes............ sad isnt it?

This sounds a little racist but the point is valid. You didn't go far enough with the thought though because the Democratic ticket will probably be both Clinton and Obama. The only thing to be decided is who is first. The Republicans are still going to need a valid candidate or the Dem will get elected by default.

If the woman and the black man were not viable candidates, I might agree with you. But since they are, I can only hope the rest of the country isn't still that bigoted and ignorant, especially our news media.

I don't understand why America wouldn't be "ready" for a woman of a black man to run for President. The only people who aren't "ready" are rednecks who have Confederate flags on their pickup trucks and still haven't realized we gave women and black people the right to vote yet.

I agree with you, and I want that Republican president to be Ron Paul. If Ron Paul didn't win the Republican nomination, then I'll vote for the Democratic candidate.

With all the Republicans running for President, I think the dark horse will be Thompson to get the nod from the Republican party.
