Is she a democrat or republican?

Oprah as a commentator and entertainer is afforded the luxury of being able to criticize, and proposing "big picture" solutions, without ever having to get into the details.

Oprah would get bogged down as having no "solutions" very early on. Her greatest strength is in "rallying troops". That is, she is very effective at endorsing people. But if she were to run herself, she would have to actually stake out very clear positions on a lot of complex issues.... and in staking out specific positions, she would alienate parts of her fan-base who have different positions on those issues.

You would be surprised at how many women think Oprah is "just like them", or "just the way they SHOULD be". If Oprah was forced to stake out positions on hard issues... she would alienate large swaths of her fan-base no matter what.

Your question regarding her being a Democrat or Republican must be an exercise in the rhetorical. Regardless, I wouldn't vote for her; but I'm sure most of her audience would.

Yes she would be highly successful if she ran for president in Africa. She wants to help and build up Africa. Has donated Millions of dollars even built schools.
I might be wrong however I have yet to hear how she has helped improve the schools or built up Chicago?? When your heart and soul belongs to another country it's hard to get the vote of majority of Americans.

Michael Moore thinks she should. She'd be a democrat, but run toward the middle.

No, although I love her. she has a better role being where she is. The political world has many decisions that require a different mind. She is marvolous helping people!!! But as a president she would need to lean on too many people to deside what is the best outcome.

Neither, she is a billionaire. And, if she is stupid enough to run, she will win. Stupid as in goodbye income.

No. She is an entertainer. Entertainers seldom make it. There is a certain nastiness, ruthlessness, necessary in your make up to be a politician.
