If you are are a patriot you would be a citizen 1st and a party member 2ND never the other way around. If we have come to a point that we are so far separated that we cannot unite on common ground (liberties) than it is time for a revolution.

"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere." Thomas Jefferson,

A relative of mine has a court date tomorrow. His house was raided by the FBI a few months ago. They went through every nook and cranny of the house and found various hanguns, firearms, and ammo. They took a complete inventory list of everything, leaving a copy of this behind which I now have in my possession. The documents being presented in court tomorrow show a completely different number of items, than what is on the inventory list. The number they are showing now is actually lower than what was originally written, but my question is this: Since the numbers are so way off, should the documents still be credible? It seems as if numbers were just made up, and if that is the case....there should be no case. Please, if you have any info, or documentation where this has been a factor in the past, let me know ASAP. Our future rests on any help you can provide. Thank you.

People in this forum accuse those who are socially aware of being weak or 'liberal'. Do Americans really love money that much? n.b. money doesn't love you back.

If they have how would we know? And how many people could be part of something secret and unethical? Here are some things that do and have happened.

When a rumor starts that could damage someone with money power and resources. We soon witness the use of subversion or disinformation by spreading contradictory rumors, that finally overthrow the original and true story! Take things slightly out of context and possible expand on them. Find a person that lacks credibility and exploit them as wackos that support some loopy idea.

So here are a few to look into.

This is a great cause and our nation really needs to join the rest of the western world in the idea of a we society not a me society. I was wondering how everyone feels about this cause and who's with me in the fight to get free and universal health care?

But many real marxist leninists and anarchists would be laughing at this "lumping" together. "Liberal" [and I am not one but a cynic] tends to see social and human advances as "rossy". "Let's solve the problem and everybody will be happy forever". For me that's a quite silly political opinion. Tha's why I RESENT being called "liberal" by these conservatives. Leftists marxists and anarchists see the world in darker side. Almost in "apocalyptical" terms. And are quite authoritarian [a leftist reading this will disagree if he/she wishes] Also marxists think that the evil is "capitalism". [In my view, capitalism is the part of humans defects we can't and never be able to solve]. So "liberalism" and "leftism" are two different terms. What do you think?

I recently read this:
BARNSTABLE, Mass. - A Cape Cod man who claimed he was homophobic, racist and a habitual liar to avoid jury duty earned an angry rebuke from a judge on Monday, who referred the case to prosecutors for possible charges.:

The guy answered the questionaire in a way that would indicate that he would not be impartial as a member of the jury and now he's a criminal? Makes me feel so much better about our legal system.
Those questionaires are designed to insure people get an impartial jury. If someone really doesn't want to be a jurour do you think they will be impartial if they feel like a hostage?

Personal experiences are fine too. I'm not asking people to give me their opinion on which president they like or even if they like the current one. I want to know how our country is better off now than 6 years ago, or how its worse. I know 10 years ago, I remember no instance where anyone I knew or anyone in my family that had trouble finding a job, or paying their bills. Now almost everyone I know has trouble finding a job, or paying their bills. What good comes from a war suposedly for our freedom, if we die from sickness from not being able to afford healthcare? What good comes from fighting for freedom, if we arent going to take care of eachother and help eachother succeed? What good comes from tax cuts, if they give more money to the wealthy, and our country now has the highest poverty level ever, with many more close to poverty. With schools closing down all over, people getting more poor, more sick without healthcare, and jobs going over seas, whats good now?

way too many people have been brainwashed & are hysterical over the asinine global warming propaganda; which is based on ridiculous premises that cannot be proven, but can easily be refuted scientifically with historical evidence & simple, logical common sense. the truth is available, but it isn't being dissemenated as widely as all the junk science & blatant lies.

it is so stupid, it would be funny if they didn't want us to sign global treaties & implement policies (that are based on junk science) that would cripple our economy & weaken our nation, which is of course the ultimate point of the "save the planet" scam. it has been the agenda of socialist leftists to destroy capitalism & democracy for quite some time. this will be an easy way to do it if people don't wise up
