yeah it is, but which country doesn't have the corruption can any one tell me the name, it is sure that on finding about that country we come to know that the citizen of that country are not corrupted (compare to other citzen of corrputed goverment) that's why their goverment is not corrputed !

we are making the goverment by doing the votes so who is responsible indiriectly for choosing the courrupt goverment

the only solution is if we stop corrpting other then in someday our goverment too find in the list of non corrupted goverment in world

So vote for the goverment who u find (by his past records) as the best governce, we are not interested in variouse party which are build in our politics, we want the right leader of nation that can make a good goverment

The Government of India is not corrupt but people representing the Govt of India can be corrupt - as Govt of India largely is a word representing India.

Now again, people within Govt of India can be corrupt - and I know what you are trying to communicate with this question.

In a vague comment I will only like to point that - there are billions of rupees spent on an election campaign even at local level and these just cannot be regained from donations - so there has to be the other - what way - you decide !!

Thanks
Madhav,

Basically, a government is not a live body. So, can't blame it. However, people running our government become corrupt in time as they see any & everybody around, corrupt. The country talks of 'no unemployment today' and being the 12th nation of the world to cross the 10 trillion $ export business mark. But there's still poverty. 50% of students in govt. schools all over the country walk without slippers. Why? How has the culture of the west, ie. installments come into, so that initial amounts can be looted at a higher rate of interest? Our people are feeling lucky that we are moving ahead. But really, we're not yet ready for it. Is the running government ever showing investment papers?Yes. But are written statements ever fulfilled? Where does all the money go? Do public ever keep faith in Police? Even movies show that the rich get out of custody, inspite of open truth and open evidence. Our culture is standardized. Whatever changes, our government is never going to change. Only 1 example: spitting after eating tobacco. HUH !!

The Government of India was never corrupt and will never be corrupt. The ministers and politicians working for the Indian Government at the high offices in the country are corrupt as they are always after the money and the votes.

Indian government is corrupt because many of the the voters going to polling booths are corrupt.Politicians after giving money and materials to such voters get back what they have sowed by corruption.
Most of the government servants from clerk to top managers are appointed and promoted based on money power and they reap through out their service period after paying once.College seats, promotions and ranks go to the privileged few.
Traders amass wealth by hoarding, cheating and greasing
the people in power.
Indian rich and middle class always advice and expect others to be holy while they stealthily indulge in everything to their advantage and personal benefits.Poor with out alternative do anything for the day's bread.
India is corrupt. With all these adversaries it is only in 10th or 11th place. Can we stop this corruption? Yes. We can. But we have to sweat hard on work and have to raise our fist for our rights.

No, I do not fully agree with this statement. India is a democracy and the common man has a choice to decide the way he/she expects it to deliver. But because of scarcity of resources and huge gap between demand and supply there creeps in a tendency to grab the goods, even if it is available at a premium. This leads to bribe and corruption. The only way of curbing corrupt practise is to control the corruption at grass root level. If we, as an individual, firmly decide not to propagate corruption even in the most inviting situations, probably corruption could be eradicated/minimised.

Some persons in the government may be corrupt, but not all. So the government is not corrupt.
