Cutting the Estate Tax, or as some are calling it, the Paris Hilton Tax, would give the richest Americans a trillion dollars in tax breaks, meaning the rest of us would be a trillion dollars poorer.

Former Exxon CEO Lee Raymond (who just got a $400 million dollar retirement package) will save $164 million.

President Bush will personally save up to $6 million.

Vice President Cheney will save up to $60.7 million.

Does Bin Laden stop and think "Should I Attack America? Nah, I'll just give up my Jihad. Wait, a commentator in Boise just said the war is not going well, I must continue my fight to the defeat the infidel.".
This is what many "conservative" talk show hosts suggest. Do they think they are talking to children with no developed sense of logic?
Let's remember who many of these hosts are. They are former radio djs, tabloid reporters and the like. If they didn't get the job they have, they would be spinning country and western or top 40 discs in Amaraillo. Why do people take what they say seriously?
If you choose to answer, don't call me names, and check your work. Let's have a civil dialog.

Thanks
And God bless America and the rest of the world as well.

According to Wikipedia:

On October 18, 2002, Penn placed a $56,000 advertisement in the Washington Post asking President George W. Bush to end a cycle of violence. It was written as an open letter and referred to the planned attack on Iraq and the War on Terror. In the letter, Penn also criticized the Bush administration for its "deconstruction of civil liberties" and its "simplistic and inflammatory view of good and evil."

Does anyone know where I can get that without needing to pay?

When are we going to stop letting monsters like Andrea Yates off? If a man did that he'd spend many many years in prison. Laws that only prosecute men are sexist and we shouldn't allow that now..... The vast majority of *serious* child abuse, and worse, is carried out by women; when are we going to put the scum away?

After seeing a story on Fox about some girl who was beaten and harrassed, her school teachers, principal and school board told her to " Toughen up". I think its amazing that this happens but o figure, its kentucky. Why should you email the Casey County High school and board? Im thinking because the faculty there need to make a career change.

That's what cops used to do. Patrol around and make sure no one was disturbing the peace. Now we have "Rogue Cops" that seek to fine you with a technicality when you were actually going about your business "peacefully." They are in fact, most of the time....disturbing the peace. I think the solution is to plead "not guilty".........especially when it's your word against the cops word. What do you think?

Governments take the money from citizens (and others) through force - you don't pay you go to jail. So where from does this absurd notion of tax-payer rights come? We pay on demand. No questions asked, so how can we be so dumb to believe that we have the right to tell the tax collector how to spend or not spend the money he has just mugged from us?

A small community in our county is actively lobbying a casino developer to build here. They claim this will provide a lot of jobs, tax revenue and solve all of our problems. If your community has recently allowed casino gambling do you think it was good for your community or not?

We do not have high unemployment. We don't have very good roads where they want to build this thing and we have a relatively low crime rate. What kind of effect would a large casino have on our community in your opinion?

The council retreive a vast number of empty bottles from the flower baskets hung high up along the main shopping street each week. The majority of them are Coca Cola with Pepsi trailing, other hardly a show. The pub interpretation was that more hooligans drink Coca Cola but to some of us it says Coke outsells Pepsi. Old Sid says we are all missing the point and if we can't see it, he's not telling us. Any ideas?
