No way, never, no how. Talk about taxation w/o representation. The UN needs to go away into the hole where the other commies are hiding.

The UN does use a complicated form of taxation, not of individual citizens but rather based on nations GDP. It is very complicated and there are many stipulations as to what is counjted and what is not. Now given this, most member states do live up to their commitments. The US is one state that frequently does not! They opt to give but not the full amount. The pickle of this process is that Japan, gives 19% of the UN budget, the US 22% but Japan does not have veto power, because any talk of giving them it is vetoed by china. France, Germany UK and Russia totaled together give a combined 16%. So is this fair? Yes the UN should have taxation powers, as they can do some really good things, but it may be that being based in the US and loosely watching their spending causes great waste.

No, because taxation is a prerrogative of sovereign states, and the UN is not a state.

Absolutely not! It is up to each nation to levy taxes and determine how the revenue is allocated.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! It is a group of the most inconsistant and uncooperative people. AND the US is always the bad guy in their eyes.

Nuts to that. They can't keep their corrupt hands off of any money that passes through them. Why would we give them more, hmmm?
