I am a security guard and work the swing shift. However, I really want the graveyard shift. The problem is, the guy who has wants to keep it. Ive been waiting for over 2 years for him to leave or screw up and it just aint happening. He's an alright guy, he just has the schedule I want. Moving from my shift will mean lower pay, and is considered a demotion, but that schedule is worth it. I know its not "ethical", but I am contemplating ideas to get him fired. One idea is to buy some marijuana and frame him with it, or somehow do something with the laptop we all use, maybe a virus of some sort that would point to him. I know im going to get the goody two shoes people telling me not to do it, but I will ignore them. Im also not going to look for another job, because the site im at is the nirvana of security sites. Any other ideas that you can think of that I should and could consider?

The fresh food industry discards tons of edible food each day. Yet I feel there are places so remote in this world that we forget about them and they do not have access to food. On the same line can E-waste be somehow recycled to make building material for homes? We have so much...how can we find ways to utilize it all so we can reach out to those in the world less fortunate than ourselves. There is always someone who is less fortunate...like the kids with no shoes are unfortunate but less so than the kids who have no legs. Somewhere deep down inside we all insulate ourselves from those realities and like to pretend that someone is taking care of those people but what if that someone is you?! Lets all dream tonite about a better world and simply holding that thought in your heart and mind gives it power to become real. So if you can do just one thing then please hold the space for a thought of a better world, less hunger, more connection to ourselves and ultimately the whole world

Also, if your up to it, explain what you think the govts involvment should be, since they seem to catch most of the blame for this also.

In a day and age where almost everyone in the United States is well read and educated, why does such a government body still exsist?
I personally believe that this institution totally defeats the purpose of democracy, and probably contributes somewhat to the reason many people do not vote (especially after the 2000 elections).
As I will be able to vote this next year, I really can't find it in myself to want to vote when I know that a) the canidates usually suck, and b) the electoral college makes the final descision anyway.
What are your takes on this, and if you do believe in eliminating this institution, how?
Particularly in a day and age where most politicians just care about their own advancement.

History is written by the victors of war, so obviously the leaders of the most powerful nation on the planet will be telling us "how it is". With America deporting over 100 000 muslim men with no reason, detaining and interrogating "suspected terrorists" without charging them you are allowing your own government to go against the very ideals it says it's protecting. Every day you and I slowly lose freedoms so that we can find the ones "attacking our freedom", yet I don't feel any more or any less safer than before. There will always be people out there wanting to harm others for their cause, and we should be able to deal with it without sacrificing the ideals we live by. If the government can't find a way to fight this battle within the guidlines of their own laws and constitution then are they really fit to lead the country that was born out of this constitution?

How many young Americans today are ready and willing to stand up and fight against the government that has broken more constitutional laws ever? Would you rather go fight in Iraq (Iran coming soon so get ready) for a cause in which the president lied and was proven wrong (no WMD's were ever found...hence Sadaam was never a threat)....or would you rather get together as true Americans, stand up and fight in getting your country back?

Intelligent answers please..even if you disagree.
Any fat-pricks that want to answer with ignorance be my guest for the rest of the world to see who'd stay at home like ******* and choose to ***** all they want but would be last to go to Iraq.

Contrary to popular belief, the 'Magna Carta' is not a document that ensures democracy to the people of England. In fact it is the opposite. It was drawn up by foreign invaders of the country who started to rule over the English people. It is in no way a Constitution, since a Constitution is made by the people themselves. A Constitution is not made by lords, kings, or rulers, but by the general public. Therefore, is it true that, in fact, England has never had a Constitution other than that foisted on them by ruling elites ?

Seeing as I have to plug an electric car into my house, and my house runs on energy from the local non-green powerplant, doesn't my car's need for electric actually cause an increase in demand on the powerplant's energy production- causing them to produce more power (and pollution)?

If we all switched to electric cars, wouldn't the burden of producing energy for them just switch from the individual owner to the local power plant- with an increase in pollution to follow?

- They protest windfarms because the turbines upset bird migration.
- They protest solar farms because the space the panels take up annexes the territory of desert animals and affects their mating.
- They protest hydro-electric because the dams affect fish mating habits.
- They protest oil/coal/fossil fuel because it pollutes.
- They protest nuclear energy because they think it is dangerous.

So what do they expect us to use?
