The fresh food industry discards tons of edible food each day. Yet I feel there are places so remote in this world that we forget about them and they do not have access to food. On the same line can E-waste be somehow recycled to make building material for homes? We have so much...how can we find ways to utilize it all so we can reach out to those in the world less fortunate than ourselves. There is always someone who is less fortunate...like the kids with no shoes are unfortunate but less so than the kids who have no legs. Somewhere deep down inside we all insulate ourselves from those realities and like to pretend that someone is taking care of those people but what if that someone is you?! Lets all dream tonite about a better world and simply holding that thought in your heart and mind gives it power to become real. So if you can do just one thing then please hold the space for a thought of a better world, less hunger, more connection to ourselves and ultimately the whole world

United Nations can deliver the food to the poverty stricken countries. It is just a matter of coordination with the companies and the UN in order to feed millions of hungry mouths.

One of the problems in the world today is that we think imperialism is wrong. Africa is perfect proof that imperialism worked. Under English, French, and others rule, Africa was not the cesspool of the world that it is today. The violence, hunger, and the disease problems have the world struggling for an answer. 1994 in Rwanda for example, lawless Hutu killed nearly one million Tutsi's because there was no true structural government there. Corruption was the key.
This is my opinion, sometimes we need certain freedoms restricted.

The first step is to create an empire under our rule. Most of the world's governments have no concern for the well-being of their subjects, pocket the aid we send them in foreign bank accounts (Yasser Arafat was notorious for this) and teach the people we try to feed that they should hate us.

As long as those people live under brutal systems of rule, with more and more countries falling under harsh Islamist rule (Sudan the most recent), we cannot help the people of other lands to enjoy the plenty that we have.

We can end the hunger by organizing the struggle against it . By forming societies, unions and calling for hunger fighting. By making demonstrations, strikes and advertisements against hunger. By collecting donations from companies , rich people and individuals and sending them to these places.

Understand that elite power circles exist to expand control of global resources, have no interest in the embetterment of mankind and only wish to extend their systems of control. When enough of us accept that shadow government exists, we will sort those greedy fools out.

the problem in the world today is that the people who can afford large amounts of food are not willing to share it with people who can't. when you put an end to the greed in the world (hum, but who can do that?), you will put an end to a big part of the world's problems.
