I'm asking because of something that was brought to my attention tonight. I've hated the Bush family for years but to momentarily put that aside and to consider that "Dubya" is what we have to work with at this momemt , a few interesting elements arise. The war we are in actually began with the Iranian embassy take over in the seventies. A hatred for Americans that every generation has been taught to understand. Embassies , Naval vessals and our economic center , attacked as a part of this 30 year old plan to distroy America, even if it meant their death . That our only hope for survival is to convert to Islam ? Name anything beneficial for the good of the world that the Islamic people have offered. ZERO ! They remind me of a bunch of stupid little children that have the "Chicken Pox". They say, "Nobody will play with me because I'm sick ". Then they run around the playground and infect the other kids to get even. They've got Spain.Maybe France.Shouldn't we call the teacher. HEY DUBYA!

Look I may be stupid for even asking, but if anyone knows how please tell me.
I may disagree with many of his views and tactics, but I cannot complain until I at least try and do my part. So I have to contact him or someone where my voice can be heard, because I can’t be quite anymore.

It seems nearly everything is in English and Spanish. But what about all the OTHER immigrants in America? Isn't the bi-lingual thing sort of skewed in favor of Mexicans ONLY? Isn't that discrimination? Why should they, among all groups, get preferential treatment?

Can I only vote for the representatives from my home district? Or can I vote for ANY representatives from ANY district?

If I can only vote for one district, would it be my home district, or the district I am in at the time of the elections? I ask this because I am initially from the San Francisco Bay Area, but will be in Los Angeles at the time of the elections (I am a student at UCLA).

I live in Coral Gables, a suburb of Miami, and every single piece of political mail that I get is in spanish. Last year I got stuff with 1 side in english, and 1 in spanish, but now its all spanish. I have no idea what these things are saying, and feel like I'm living in another country. I know that as a white english speaking male I'm a minority here, and I thought the voting rights act required a translation in the minority language (english) of campaign material if more than a certain % speaks the language. Its really strange to have a primary going on and not being able to read the material because its not even provided in english.

With today's new tape released by Al Queada calling for all who do not believe in Islam to convert expressing urgency in doing so...
They mean everyone that is not Islamic.

My question will you convert? Do you see this as a warning or a threat? If not what are your plans? Will you be prepared? Or should we continue to laugh it off?

first place? A piece of paradise can be destroyed by too many people, too much construction, natural beauty sacrificed for commercial buildings, hotels, etc. Is it worth it? Would Hawaiians have been happier if they had been left alone to live on those islands without interference from people from the USA and other countries? (HI, not long ago, was not a state of the USA)

I hear all the time like 'oh that is just class envy.' Neocons say that like it is a bad thing to hate the haves over the have nots.

What is wrong with that? I think we should raise total ---- everyday about the unfairness of society then maybe it will be fixed.

All uneducated female workers should refuse to go to work for a month!!!

An uneducated male can work construction, be a painter, all kinds of stuff that gives him the same wages as a female college graduate.

What does the female do? A f... store clerk? A f... waitress? They work just as hard as those males standing on their feet sometimes all day without ever being able to sit down.

I have a 35 yr old friend (college grad btw) that works at a store. The store purposely doesn't have a chair because employees aren't allowed to sit all day.

When she comes home, she cries for about an hour because her feet throb from standing on cement nonstop all day.

It's bull. I'm sick of male domination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't find anywhere in the constituion, or the bill of rights that remotely states that this or any other government adm. is responsibale to hold your hand through life. stop blaming the government because your life is not peaches and cream. take some personal responsibility.

Something doesn't seem right to me. I know there are substantial number of people who are addicted to porn and get their life ruined by it. They have told me porn addiction is as bad as drug or alcohol addiction if not worse.
Yet, I don't see any PR messages on tv, radio or newspaper educating about dangers of porn and its addictive side. Why?
How do you expect people to stay away from it unless they know its harmful side? Does the federal government consider porn addiction dangerous at all?

As much as people say they support President Bush or President Clinton, these men had their drawbacks, some big some small. Where are the people of vision and compassion? True, natural born leaders that didn't need a poll or an advisor to tell him right and wrong, where are they? And don't cop out with the response that these are our times, great leaders mold their times, they change the world.
