The Republicans now represent the economic elites of the country, also called economic royalists - they comprise an economic aristocracy. The same is mostly true for Democrats, though the specific business and financial interests they work for a somewhat different. To learn how decayed American democracy has become and the strategy for restoring it, read the great new book "Delusional Democracy - Fixing the Republic Without Overthrowing the Government."
