R: Democrats will "cut and run", they have no backbone to defend this country. I.e. democrats are anti-war

D: Democrats do not cut and run, I guess that's the PC way of calling us cowards. I fully support the war in Afghanistan and going after those who attacked us. But we are anti-war true, we believe war should only be fought when you have to in order to defend ourselves. If you wish to be pro-war then I'm said for you and pray you have a good answer to God when you meet him.

R: Being Anti-Bush is unpatriotic

D: "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it." Mark Twain.
George Bush does not deserve our support. He does not uphold the Constitution, he has stolen the powers of Congress to enact laws and betrayed the American people by illegally wire tapping us, to name a few crimes.

Heres what I would have done when I found out that many of the terroists were from Saudi Arabia... I would have ordered a jet plane loaded with one nuclear bomb and flew directly over and droped it in the center of Saudi Arabia. Those terroists want terror I would give it to them. That's the only thing they understand. Also the several Russian citizens I have chat with on the internet say they would love to deliver to the arab nations a "bucket of sunshine" which is what Russian people call a nuclear bomb.

And granted, some of them do, but the majority do not. Wouldn't we, as a society, be much better served if retired professionals sought second mini-careers teaching/mentoring and generally passing on their wisdom?

I'm not trying to tell people how to spend their time, but it seems that if people with some time volunteered more, we could start steering this country back toward where we want it to be.

Both republicans and democrats have chosen animal symbols that make no sense! A donkey? is not the burro considerd dumb? An elephant is not this elephant from somewhere else? Why not a symbol from the Americas? A bird? A fish? A symbol from the new world! Even a feather of an eagle is better. A racoon is most precious. A mannatee? A falcon? Is time to change the symbols.

I have worked with numerous immigrants, those who just come to the US and need a little help getting started and then there are those who are in the US for years who refuse to learn ENGLISH..why should we continue to pay out of our pockets for their chosen denial of knowing what is going on around them?..It isn't a country of justice anymore..it is a country of who yells the loudest...my mother, a 49 yr old woman died who had a heart condition could not get assistance for heart surgery, a widow of 13 years, yet we can promote and continue to pay for immigrants who are not citizens or taxpayers and give them free care...day after day in the ER..who refuse to learn English..and we are now supposed to give them the right to vote?...for what purpose...they don't pay for anything....they pay nothing for health care...and are allowed to make decisions in our US Government?...don't you think we should be able to vote in their country's too?...and get rid of the bilingual mandatory crap?

I'm attending a meeting later this month and need some ideas to put to the Commitee---hate the term--- about.

County Growth for the next 15 to 20 years
Infrastructure
Land - water -sewer issues
Transportation
Zoning -- None exist

The county I live in is unique in that the population has grown 11% since 2000, per stats, and is growing by leaps and bounds that the government is blind to. We are a shopping hub and draw from 3 states on the weekends and our population is bursting at the seams. I need some help with ideas on how to control growth and still let my neighbors live without the tax base ballooning to such an extent they can't afford to pay their taxes and are forced to sell. I've seen it happen!

The upcoming ABC special "Path to 9/11" is said to include a segment that faults President Clinton for weakening the U.S. and missing opportunities to deal with Islamofascists when it was much easier than when President Bush inherited this dangerous situation we are in. The Clintons and Clintonites have demanded that ABC edit that segment out.

I may not agree with everything that President Bush has done, but the Clintonites certainly criticise President Bush, and applaud the misleading Michael Moore and company from releasing negative attacks on President Bush, but they can't take any criticism about their beloved president? This is absurd and a classic case of double-standards. Outrageous!

I implore each and everyone of you to contact ABC and demand that they not bow to Clintonites demands to edit the ABC special segment. Let freedom reign, let freedom of expressions reign. I thought that only the Democrats are champions of that cause. I guess I was wrong!

These are the common responses to question, Liberals and Moderates, fire away.

"Democrats will "cut and run", they have no backbone to defend this country. I.e. democrats are anti-war.

"Being Anti-Bush is unpatriotic"

Answer one or answer all these alligations. Debunk the Republican's myths so that can't use thier "trademark" answers anymore. Maybe they can come up with something more original now. I will post my own responses to these question tomarrow.

"Bush is bad but Gore and Kerry would have been worst"

"If you don't love this country, leave it!"

"We should support the President, because he is the President, regardless of what he does."

"Support the troops"

"Democrats are soft on immigration"

"Democrats have no plan"

You hear this alot as a Republican counter arguement but please be clear there is a significant difference between supporting our troops and supporting this war, combining the two is a big mistake. Supporting troops means giving them the money and to buy sufficient armor and have sufficient weapons to protect themselves (which this administration did not do when the war started), supporting this administration is supporting an unjust war. The troops have no say in where and when they go but you as voting citizens have a say in weather or not we send them to fight and die for a foreign country or use them to keep us safe at home.

To illustrate the point, here's the QUESTION: Would you have had the same feelings toward supporting the war and the troops in Vietnam? Or do you believe as many Americans believed that supporting the war was NOT supporting the troops. You were just sending them to die in an unjust war. Remember this is Vietnam we're talking about.

Asking questions and recieveing non-sensical answers from some (not all Republicans and Bush backers, some I've come to learn simply voted for him so that he has a chance to fix what HE started in Iraq, i.e. a way for them to resolve why this placed thier loyalty to him in the first face). Anyways, if you've ever gotten a one sentence answer to your question and it came from a Bush supporter this is probably why:

"There are some people, and I'm one of them, that believe George Bush was placed where he is by the Lord," Tomanio said. "I don't care how he governs, I will support him. I'm a Republican through and through."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060907/ap_on_re_us/southern_women

Now the question do you believe the majority of his supporters support him because of this position? It would explain alot.
